Dangerous Supplement
Sodium borate (commonly known as borax) is not considered safe for human consumption as a dietary supplement, even though it contains boron. Here’s a quick breakdown:Boron vs. Sodium Borate (Borax)Boron is a trace mineral that is essential in small amounts and can be beneficial for bone health, hormone regulation, and inflammation reduction. Safe and effective boron supplements include boron citrate, boron glycinate, or boron aspartate.Sodium borate (borax) is a chemical compound used primarily as a cleaning agent, pesticide, or industrial additive. It is not approved by the FDA for use as a dietary supplement and can be toxic when ingested, especially at higher doses.Health Risks of Borax ConsumptionCan cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and even kidney damage.Repeated exposure may affect fertility and reproductive health.Classified as a reproductive toxin in some regulatory systems.

Potent Boron Dose, But Contains Unnecessary Fillers
This Boron supplement provides a robust dose of 10mg of Boron per tablet, sourced from Sodium Borate, which is a widely recognized and bioavailable form. This dosage, whilst at the higher end of typical supplemental intakes, aligns with a functional approach often employed for supporting bone health, influencing hormone balance, and enhancing cognitive function. The product commendably carries "Cruelty-free" and "Vegan" certifications and states it is "Made in the UK".However, consistent with my ongoing concerns, the tablet does include several inactive ingredients. It lists Microcrystalline Cellulose and Di-calcium Phosphate as bulking agents, and Magnesium Stearate as an anti-caking agent. While these excipients are routinely utilised in supplement manufacturing to ensure product consistency and aid in tablet formation, they are non-active components. For consumers who prioritize a truly "clean label" approach, the presence of such fillers is generally undesirable, and the valid concern regarding their potential for cumulative intake over time from various supplements remains.

As described but does it work?
To be fair I can't even remember why I think I need this so, unless it causes memory loss, I've no complaints! (yes, that's a joke, or a poor attempt at one at least). So yeah, all good and as described but, as with so many supplements, I find it very hard to decide if this is actually providing much benefit..... but that's no criticism of the actual product.

Dangerous form of boron
WARNING DO NOT TAKE THIS POISON.I was tricked like many others thinking this would be a safe boron supplement but later found out that it contains an extremely toxic cheap form of boron (sodium borate) which is used to make laundry detergent, pesticides and all purpose cleaners. If you are looking for the benefits of boron this will simply do more harm than good, it causes hormone disruption and actually lowers your testosterone. This is all done knowingly by the seller and should not be allowed to be sold as a supplement as it is not even deemed as safe by the FDA
