I found this book compulsive reading and unlike any other investment book that I have read. Once the book was finally published I decided that I had to purchase a copy because not only did I want the final draft of the book, I also want to show my appreciation for the author writing this excellent book. Although generally I do not post reviews of many books, that is more down to me not doing so until I find books I feel warrant a good review, however I felt compelled to review this book. I have read various books including O'Neil's but I just found this one different. Throughout the book you can sense the authors strong desire to succeed and to help others achieve the same goal. Jesse's approach is a combination of fundamental and technical analysis to seek out beaten down stocks and to identify the point where their fortunes are Turning, identifying the times when the risk to reward ratio is heavily in your favour. This is not a book for day traders, focusing on the longer term with potentially huge price movements. The book gives many examples of these stocks and details the key rules for entries and exits. Jesse has been honest about his past failures as well as the superstocks that changed his life. His style of writing is easy to follow whilst being rich in information. Overall a must read book. Review: Don’t think just do!! Top gun - I’ve read hundreds of trading books and this one is definitely in my top 3 if not my favourite. I’ve searched the internet high and low for an interview with Jesse but I’ve read he keeps a low profile. If you read this Jesse would love to see a YouTube video/interview . The first pages got me hooked and I am constantly re-reading it as there is a lot to take in. I have read many investment books and this in the only one I really connected too. It is really inspiring and gives a more original insight into trading / or the truth. The book written in an easy to read style with a modern way of writing. Often I can drift when reading books (especially some investing books) but this one I just read it from start to finish. You have to go back and re-read to get the best from the book as there is too much valuable information to think you will just 'get it' straight away. The book gives real life examples and also wonderful information on what moves stocks and what to look for in a superstock. It is not for the lazy investor but for the people who have struggled with average results and those who finally want to move to the next level. I think we all know we can do it but are not sure how and after reading this book I now know with some time and effort it will happen. This book makes sense. I hardly ever write reviews.
