John Aird Luxury Faux Silk Fully Lined Eyelet Curtains (Silver, 117cm Width x 137cm Drop (46"x 54")

..these are perfect!!!A gorgeous fabric, more like a quality slub satin which I prefer more than a faux silk, as they have a texture to them and a bit of ‘body’!!I love the colour, a beautiful silver grey, the perfect shade. If silver’s not your thing, there is a plethora of other colours to choose from, ensuring that at least ONE of the colours fits in with your decor.The problem is, having such a choice, makes it a difficult decision. However, to be quite honest, these are SUCH amazing value for money, so why not treat yourself to a couple of different colours? You really would be hard pushed to find anything comparable, at this price.I haven’t hung them properly yet, as I’m waiting til my bedroom has been decorated, but I have held them up against the window to judge whether size is correct and whether much light passes through (sorry, no photo of this, but it would be rather difficult to hold the curtains AND take a pic). The size is just right but, if you’re looking for total blackout curtains, then these aren’t for you. However, they do block enough light to enable me to have a good night’s sleep, without waking at the crack of dawn.I much prefer this eyelet style of curtain over the pinch pleat type as no fiddly hooks and curtain tape to deal with, just easily thread onto a pole and voilà!! You’re good to go. In my opinion, they also beat tabtop which I think gape too much at the top, allowing an unacceptable amount of light in, without mounting pole at lest 8 or 9 ins above your window. You can hang a pair of eyelet curtains in 5 minutes.TIP: Depending on fullness and amount of folds you want, you should allow at least 1.5 times of the window width, for a pair of curtains combined. I personally prefer at least twice the width so in my case, if a window is 2m wide, I would buy a pair of curtains where each curtain is at least 2m wide (a combined width of 4m)Also, for length, remember to measure from height of pole to the level you want the curtain to fall too. Nothing worse, to ruin the look of a room, than having curtains that are too narrow or too short. Heaven forbid if they should fall into both camps!!🫣😮😏I have absolutely no qualms in recommending these bea-u-tiful curtains to all. Totally worth their money. TOTALLY!!

Why did you choose this product over others?:Beautiful curtains and great value.

These mocha curtains were beautiful and looked far more expensive than they were,although sadly they were not quite the right shade to match the other browns in my room and they clashed. I would have certainly kept them otherwise. The only loss of star was due to nothing saying that that postage would be deducted from my refund until going through the return process. Admittedly it’s rare I need to return items but I have never had to pay postage with Amazon returns before. I totally understand small businesses cannot keep covering returns for items that are personally unsuitable for customers, or for people who buy loads before working out what they want to keep but I do believe the deduction should have been made clear within the advert should anyone need to return. I was going to try the white ones instead but as my walls are an off-white shade, I don’t want to be in the same position of a clash so have cancelled the order before they are dispatched.

These are beautiful curtains at a very reasonable price. They are not the thickest but look amazing with the light coming through. The colour is a lovely blue. I would definitely recommend

Bought for a friend. They look really nice, easy to put up. The length was a great fit, lovely quality. The colour is gorgeous.
