When my kitchen sink with disposal clogged a few weeks ago, I tried everything (except harmful Drano or Liquid Plumber) to unclog it including: plunging with a Beehive plunger every night for 6 weeks, baking soda & vinegar, Coke, BioClean, hot water, Dawn dish liquid, hydrogen peroxide, Affresh tablets, salt, dismantling the drain trap and cleaning it out (it showed no clog by the way) and even prayers to St. Vincent Ferrer, Patron Saint of Plumbers! Nothing was working and weeks passed. I resigned myself to calling the expensive plumber the next day.But I had one more "trick up my sleeve" and that was my newly arrived Amazon Populo 25' Drain Auger. I was hesitant to tackle this final step, so I looked at lots of instructional videos. It took 3 tries but the third was the charm! I added some hot water and Dawn and left the sink for a few minutes after the third snaking because the water level had not gone down. I sighed in defeat and left the kitchen. When I returned a wonderful sight caught my attention: THE DRAIN WAS COMPLETELY EMPTIED!! Water flowed down into the trap like a champ, and it gurgled merrily. I was elated. I highly recommend this tool. I did not use the drill attachment, but I could have tried that too, if needed.

Awesome product. Works as described and it has saved me a lot of money by avoiding to call a plumber. Flexible and reliable product. Will recommend to anyone looking to unclog their pipes.

First thing to note is that there’s no auto feed: not able to push forward and pull back by turning the crank. Need to manually pull out cord and shove it into drain by hand, then use crank to twist to get hair/gunk then pull backMust judge on your own if you reach the point of the clog to twist grab the hair and other junk, after that it works as intended.Takes more time than drain augers that auto feeds, but if you’re on a budget, or don’t de-clog often/not part of your occupation this is a good deal

Finally got to try this out on our toilet. I have been holding onto this for the inevitable day that we would. Red it and unfortunately it didn’t work for us at all. It wouldn’t wind out like we expected and never did make it to the clog. It was messy and frustrating to use. The good old fashioned plunger eventually saved the day.

Cuenta con una manivela con función de taladro pero no sirve de nada ,cuando la guía a salido se enreda y no regresa hasta que vuelvas a introducirla con ayuda,cuenta con guías plástica realmente no funcionan ,yo esperaba los guantes fueran en su totalidad de látex pero solo cubre una ligera parte que terminan mojados siendo inservibles

Second floor bath tub got clogged up mainly by hair. Because of the narrow opening, we had to find an auger with small head. This manually operated auger got the job done with only a few tries. We pulled clump of hair out each time. We bought it essentially for its small head. Not disappointed.
