Exactly what you need
Just so you know, I done a good bit of research before settling on purchasing these poles and I’m glad I did. Poles are very heavy duty. They extend smoothly and lock down firmly. Plenty of length and then some for my tent awning. The poles have a silicon tip at the end which is a nice touch if you’re using it as a center support pole. The silicon ball tip prevents puncturing and slipping when using it as a center support pole. The tip also has eyelets where you can guy off the pole for support which is a necessity in most applications. Poles have a nice fit and finish. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy again if I needed. Also comes in a nice storage bag. Guy ropes and stakes are average and work as needed. No need to spend $100 on poles. These will very likely fill your needs for half the price of the others. 10/10 recommend

Sturdy, adjustable, and compact when collapsed.
Adjustable, sturdy and well constructed poles. We put together a "hack" awning for our travel trailer entrance. I think I even want to get another set of poles to allow for expansion. They held the awning up in 10 mph winds. It helps to guy they out, and there should be more cord included, but parachute cord is inexpensive. The poles, themselves, are great.

Strong, well-built, easy to use. Nice poles!
These feel really solid, adjust easily, and make it easy to set up a tarp next to my car. The little red balls on top are a nice, soft silicone rubber -- perfect for setting up a center pole in the middle of your tarp, without ripping it. The guy lines (is that what they're called?) that came with it are nice, too -- they have a reflective string woven in so they show up great with your flashlight. I'd purchase again! In fact, I might buy a second set. :)

Excellent Tent Poles
These tent poles are AMAZING! They’re plenty high if you need extra height, and retract to a mere 3 feet (36 inches). The red rubber tips are a great feature as it gives you the ability to use it as a center pole without running the risk of puncturing the cloth roof/tarp (or whatever material you have)…it also is a great option if you need to secure (for instance) a tarp or tent flap, but you have no grommets to stick the tip rod through..so, simply erect the pole to your desired height and then on the opposite side of the tarp whee you have it erected, simply tie your guy lines around the ball with a simple slip knot and you’re good to go! (Side note for any novice campers: If you ever are in a situation where you are erecting a tarp or some type canopy shelter, but have no grommet holes, simply find a small tick or large stone about the size of a golf ball or even a little smaller, and simply wind those rock and twist them in the corners you want to tie down. It’s the same principle as the red rubber tips that come with these poles, but thought I’d give you a little outdoor survival improvised alternative if you don’t have grommets). I also LOVE the fact that the tips of each pole have two (2) tie-down/guy line points, verses poles that typically only provide one. This way you will have extra stability when you’re faced with high winds, etc. So Todd…if these poles are so great, then why did you only give them Four (4) Stars ⭐️ instead of Five (5)?! Ahhhh…you saw that…great eye! 👁️ Well, this is why. I would not be giving you a sincere and honest review unless I called both balls AND strikes…So here is why I gave it 4 Stars instead of 5. My only issue with these poles (and it’s very minor…and by no means a deal breaker, because these are AWESOME poles….but is still an issue) are the knobs that you twist to “lock and unlock” the poles when you want to lock them in place, and then retract. They’re very tight and sometimes you have to twist the opposite to what the diagram is showing in the poles in order to achieve whatever you’re trying to do (erect or retract). BUT, again, very slight issue and I blame my OCD more than anything…😂😂😂. I do believe, however, that because these poles are new and haven’t been used a lot yet, that over time, those locking knobs will loosen up and be more cooperative… All in All…these tent poles ROCK and are worth every Penny and blow those high dollar elephant whatever poles out of the water. For $40 bucks (or $20/pole) you can’t beat that with a stick. My neighbor with whom I primitive hammock camp with on occasion literarily fell in love with these poles when I showed him these, and immediately jumped on Amazon and bought a pair!

Perfect for awning, awesome product and price.
Needed some adjustable poles for a DIY awning set up for our little travel trailer and after searching I came across these. The reviews looked good, so I thought I'd try them out. These turned out to be perfect for what I needed. Strong, light and collapse down small. And you get two for less than I could find anywhere local for the price of one. Very well thought out product, totally recommend.

One Spike, Two Spike, Red Spike, Blue Spike!
Coming from someone who camps all the time, these are AWESOME! We have used these from Tennessee all the way to Zion NP! These work great in wind storms and have held up on numerous camping trips, backpacking trips and even during our long stays at National Parks! They are lightweight, and very easy to set up and take down. They are easy to see if you have a tarp set up at night so you don’t trip over them!

Exceeded my expectations. These poles are beasts. The twist locking mechanism is solid. Tried pushing two sections together, but once locked they are impossible to move. Some people might whine about the weight but I suggest upping your fitness levels. Carry light, freeze at night. Will be ordering two more.

Los bastones son fuertes. El ajuste de altura no cede. Puedes tensarlos y no reducen su tamaño.

Used for the first time at the weekend, in sting breeze, torrential downpour, and sunshine. Poles are sturdy without being overly heavy, even when full extended. Mechanism feels smooth, though I'd want to keep mud and grit to a minimum to keep it that way. Great length - full height kept the tarp high enough to stand under; lowest was enough to make a decent bivy. Knobbles for making a circus tent work well too.
