Hisense lead the way with quality TVs at an affordable price.
After my 12 year old 55" LG TV packed up the other day I needed to look for a replacement quickly. I had done some research in the past and saw that Hisense TVs have now caught up with the likes of LG and Samsung with their QLED technology. So after looking at Which magazine reviews I opted for a Hisense 65A7QTUK. Although the price was slighter higher, I was guaranteed next day delivery through Amazon. The TV was delivered today by AIT home delivery with no problems at all. I received a delivery slot by text the night before and a phone call an hour before delivery and when he arrived the delivery driver let me open the package to confirm there was no damage before he left. The TV is easy to assemble, even for one person, but I would recommend two people if you are unsure and with most smart TVs once it is switched on it sets itself up with ease. My main input is Sky Q and I am absolutely delighted with the picture quality. The TV is also HDR compatible. The sound is OK on its own but is a little "Tinny" which is helped by adjusting the bass setting. You will get better sound if you have a sound bar connected to your Sky Q box. Overall I am really delighted with this TV. It is certainly on a par with its better known rivals and at a much more affordable price. Its interesting as well that some of the 2025 Hisense models are selling cheaper than the 2024 models. Go on treat yourself. You won't be disappointed.

We are soooo pleased we got this telly. Quality is amazing. Sound is outstanding i read some folk saying the volume was low not true I have it on volume 20 and its blaring which is nowhere near the highest i love that you can choose the type of sould also. I think ill always get a hisence tv. 75inch is amazing and perfect size for us. Happy with the price happy with the picture quality. Im that impressed im thinking of getting the same brand but smaller for the bedroom.

Great for live tv with no aerial
I got this tv due to its freely capability. Having just got rid of our paid for tv subscription service and no option of utilising a tv aerial, having the ability to watch live tv was a priority. The tv is great, the sound is good and the picture quality is excellent. The remote control is very responsive (this has been an issue on other tvs within the household) but so far so good with this Hisense tv. Freely works without any issues and we now have basic live tv with no subscription fee. Connect tv to internet, open freely app and away to go!! Just what we wanted. All other apps, bbc iplayer, Netflix etc also work great. This tv was value for money at half the price of our previous 50”. We have only one issue hence the reason for 4 stars not 5. Sometimes the tv won’t recognise anything connected via HDMI. We have a PS5 and firestick connected to separate HDMI ports. When selecting these devices the tv returns to Home Screen and doesn’t recognise the connected device and takes a few times of trying before it does. Having researched online to see if there is a fix, unfortunately it appears that this is a problem with many Hisense TV’s.

Overall Excellent - issues with recording to a hard drive just a minor issue
Pro's - Impressed with a very easy & logical set up. Connects via Freeview easily too. Screen quality is superb. Con's - Connection to a recording device (external hard drive) very difficult. Overall = Excellent choice at a decent price.

Superb Picture Quality With The 55" Hisense QLED TV
This 55 inch Hisense replaced a 5 year Sanyo 55" television. Technology has certainly moved on since then. We were 'Blown Away' by the Hisense picture quality bearing in mind it's a mid-priced TV. The sound quality is OK but like any TV it's nothing to get excited about. Let's say, it's quite adequate but no more. The addition of a £75 Hisense soundbar made a huge difference to the sound quality. It's a good 2.1 system and has more than adequate bass unless you want to rattle your windows. Make sure you connect it to the correct HDMI port as one is designated specifically for sound bars amongst other things. The Hisense 55" QLED TV is definitely a recommended buy given the superb picture quality.

Bought mine in March 2025 and in May just a couple of months later I experienced problems with it and notified Amazon I would be returning it as it wouldn't switch off despite my remote having my new batteries. I had to Google for help as to locate the manual off switch which is under the pilot/remote light and try to navigate the menu. It was under warranty of course and unfortunately due to illness I had to wait until I felt better to return it. It worked a few weeks start of June and then recently in September it stopped altogether and I believe a lot of people experience issues with Hisense and it's disappointing because I thought they were supposed to be a top of the range brand but I finally returned it and just awaiting a refund but I wouldn't recommend it as it's not a reliable. I am going to get a TCL Google TV instead. I have one as a main TV as this Hisense (Vidaa system) was supposed to be a bedroom tv and the TCL is better. The Vidaa system doesn't allow you to add apps the same as a Google TV which is a like a giant phone so I am glad to see the back of this TV .. Do your research first and pay attention to the software issues that can happen with Hisense (Vidaa) TV's.
