Well Made and Family Approved
I have a family of 5 so most of the pans in my house are the size of a small planet. Sometimes though, I just want to make one egg or one sausage patty or one egg and one sausage patty. It's a nice little pan for cooking smaller portions. This pan is perfect for those times.Of course the minute my kids saw my new "just for me" pan they got very excited about the things they could make."It's perfect for after school grilled cheese," one said."It would be better for reheating leftovers," another argued. Then my husband came in the room. He didn't have any food suggestions he just picked up the pan to check it out."I really like the thumb divot. That will make it easy to cook with." ...and that was that. If the husband and the kids (well, two out of there, the other one was busy doing something super important I'm sure...) they very rarely agree on anything, so I was shocked and pleased.Since then, I've cooked sausage, grilled cheese, and eggs - and it cleans like a dream. It's an easy pan to grab and use and looks pretty hanging with my other pans.

This Pan Works Even Better Than Advertised--It Can Even Be Used in the Oven
Being older than dirt with arthritic hands and having generally low energy, this pan is a remedy. It is light, very lightweight. The pan is super easy to clean, although nothing has burned in it yet, so can't vouch for those circumstances. The pan really works on my glass top induction stove. It is the perfect size for single and small servings. Food has heated and cooked evenly in this pan without any hotspots or dead spots I can identify. It can even be used in an oven up to 500 degrees. Warning: The pan handle is cool but the lid cover isn't--oh the pain. It's never fun to hear the sizzle of your own hand. The inside copper color and exterior navy blue colors are nice. The only thing this incredible pan doesn't do is walk the dog. And this is an unpaid review, straight from my delighted experience. This is the pan I've wanted for years, nearly perfect and my favorite now.

Almost perfect finish, good non-stick properties and good cooking performance.
This was the third similar product I've purchased recently. This 8" makes a good set with the 6" and 12" others. I needed something big enough to hold a breakfast sausage or patty plus one egg, but no bigger to take additional time and energy. This model does that, helped by the lid. I always use a little oil/butter, but it's still obvious that the non-stick coating is very forgiving on temperatures no higher than Medium. Cleaning is really a breeze, although the top rim and underside need a little special care to keep clean and preserve the pan's quality. I like the curvature of the bottom, since it helps pour a cooked egg, etc. out easier than an angled bottom does. The pan is almost entirely well-finished and polished, with just the slightest of exceptions being noted around the upper rims of the rivets on the pan and lid, which are not perfectly polished smooth. This is a common occurrence in similar products. In my opinion the pan feels more smooth overall than many of its competitors.

Was skeptical but now I'm sold
If you're looking for a stainless steel non-stick frying pan 12-in look no further. I was skeptical at first but I've been using it pretty regularly and so far I'm impressed! The weight of the pan is not too bad heats up rapidly and nothing sticks I even made scrambled eggs and they came out light and fluffy with no residue in the pan.Clean up is a breeze and I hang my pots and pans in my kitchen for display and they are beautiful and this pan definitely stands out nicely.Worth the price so far I hope it lasts.

REVISED REVIEW
Using this daily for 30 days I am impressed with the nonstick quality. Fry eggs with no spray, add cheese and still nothing sticks. Cook a turkey burger, which usually leaves a sticky residue and it rinses off. Note that we rarely cook above medium heat on gas. Clean with soap every few days and no need for the dishwasher. Mostly just rinse and ready.FOLLOW UP - after 6 months the pan has little non stick quality yet looks new. Have cleaned the surface with baking soda and dish soap paste. Looks perfect. Performance is sub par. Bummer.FOLLOW UP - Never use cooking spray. Restore the finish with Bar Keepers Friend and looks and works like new.

NIce pan!
This looks like it's going to be a very nice pan. I was looking for a pan with which I could use metal utensils. This pan allows that! Time will tell on its longevity.

Not so phenomenal pan, still lousy handle
The pan itself performed very well. I use it strictly for egg cookery. Even though the instructions state otherwise, I found that a small drizzle of oil (I use either canola or olive oils) was needed to start the reaction in a hot pan. That little bit of fat was perfect as the medium for heat transfer from the pan to the food. Omelets and scrambled eggs came out great. There was some minor sticking with sunny side up and over easy preparations even with a drizzle of oil. However, that was quickly remedied with a light mist of cooking spray. Now, the one thing that ruins it all is the handle. First off, it's very awkward to hold because of its girth. I've spent 34 years in kitchens, 29 with some version of chef (sous, de cuisine, executive, etc.) after my name. In all that time, I've handled lots of saute pans from various manufacturers. The one thing they all had in common was that their were narrow enough to easily control them. The major issue is this handle gets so hot, I have to use either a kitchen towel or an oven mitt just to make an omelet.I will be looking for a similarly coated pan but a more commercial style handle. However I'll keep this one for a backup.UPDATE:Even after a few days I'm noticing it's not as nonstick as it was out of the box. Very disappointed in its performance. I've already thrown out the box so it looks like I'm stuck with it. At least I didn't pay a lot for it. I'll keep looking.
