I've read a lot of business and "be your best self" books, and one thing that most of them have in common is that they often sound good but aren't actually useful once you put them down.Dr. Seki comes from the other direction -- he takes his his deep experience from the peer-reviewed academic world and distills everything down into the simple step-by-step real answers to how people develop true expertise.I found the stories from his own life to be very relatable, as well as his digging deeper into familiar (if sometimes misunderstood) concepts like the "10,000 hour rule" and "practice makes perfect".Ultimately, a great addition to anyone's reading list on exactly how great people got there, designed to be read by someone about to take their first steps.

Although the book is short and sweet, it does have some great little tips, for me it was well worth buying and I’ll keep re-reading it. I’m learning to play a musical instrument and using the ideas in the book has definitely made a big difference
