Smells and looks highly processed.
Highly processed, artificial smell... My cat always hesiitated to eat it, took usually few hours to finish one pod. Each pod packaged in low grade plastic, no way it is good for the animal

Multi-cat household approves
My cats really love this Applaws natural cat food. I received it in the Sardine with Mackerel. It is a small container at approximately 2.12 oz but it is filled with solid bits. Ingredients listed are sardines, fish broth, mackerel, and rice. It’s great that there are only four but I wonder why there is rice in a canned food? Cats don’t easily digest carbs and I wouldn’t think it necessary in a moist food. Besides that, this food is not overly fishy smelling (like knock you over smelly). I did take off a star for the added rice in this product as well as the price. At $2.29 for a 2.12 oz container this is rather expensive to give on a daily basis so I will be giving it as an occasional treat.

My cat loves this so much. It’s always a treat. Comes in easy packaging. Easy to take the seal off, easy to pour out and easy clean up!!

4 out of 5 cats will not eat this. Who knows what's really in this? Cats do have great sense of smell.

Picky cat approval
My elderly cat is just so picky and honestly I’ve gone through so many foods trying to find something she will eat. My vet doesn’t want her eating a lot of fish but my gosh she CHOWED down on this food. Her appetite and appearance is more important to me than her not eating fish at this age. The cost of these is a bit high, but for my cat I do not care. Ingredients are super simple and this does say it’s not a complete diet so to be sure to feed it with a balanced dry food or another canned option.
