When I Solo I O Meal
The other dehydrated meals are too much for me when I solo. Yes the weight is a bit more.. but I like to not have food waste in the backcountry. Also I can cook my coffee on my jet boil while using the self heating OMeal to save time. Especially convenient in storms where it is impossible to light the stove.

Good food, good self heating system, but not enough food.
Good food it has to be seasoned to your taste and according to your health needs , good self heating system it truly heats up in fluid's it would be great if the pac was bigger with more food, it's not enough food for the price but it will keep people from starving how ever they will want to eat more than one pack at a time.

Great meals. Love the self heating envelope.
The meals are actually quite tasty. Amazing self heating is versatile because you can use the hot liquid to warm up other stuff like instant coffee inside the envelope.

Perfect backpacking food for vegetarians.
Quantity was just good. A bit more would have been better but no complaints. Taste was perfect. Preparation was so damn easy.

Great flavor - not recommended for backpacking
This review is for ALL OMeals flavors. While the flavor is actually really good, the package weight is 8 ounces. While carrying a few of these for a short backpacking trip isn't too much of a hassle, the calorie count for the weight isn't worth it, in my opinion. The vegetarian chili is about a cup, maybe, of food with 160 calories. This isn't meal-sized portions, especially when hiking/backpacking, so one would need to carry these meals plus supplements or other calorie sources - adding up to way too much food weight. I would recommend these for a light camping trip, but honestly, you can find better priced options. The flavor is good, but not good enough to make it worth it.
