Review: My cheapest and favourite nitecore ! - I have a few of the newer nitecores, this is the cheapest of thedm (off ali- much cheaper and real)) but also my favourite. The beam is beautiful. It isnt as bright and doesnt last as long but i prefer it to all the others.
Review: Avoid Doing This and You'll Have a Good EDC 25 - I had this for a little over a year now and I say I am quite pleased with it's battery life -- until I dropped it a couple of times. Be cautious of dropping this EDC as it has the potential to make the battery malfunction. Everything else about the EDC is acceptable and nice to hold in ones hand. This review focuses on my incident that caused a failure of the battery. Drop 1 (Since purchase until late June 2026): Height of about 3 ft. (0.9144 m). Since the drop this is about pocket height and/or car seat height, I assume I have dropped it a good handful of times, but not enough to notice a battery issue. Drop 2 (Sometime in late June 2026): Height of about 5 ft. 8 in. (1.76784 m) . I was riding my OneWheel and it dropped due to improper mounting to my helmet. Hit the asphalt with considerable force. After that ride, I stored it for about 2 days before needing to use it again. To my surprise, the battery was dead. This EDC, when not damaged, is capable of holding a charge after being stored for nearly weeks on end without a charge and minimal usage. I allowed the the battery charge for a couple of minutes (~ 15-30 min). Then I grabbed it, and the first thing I noticed is how uncomfortably warm it was. That's when I concluded that the drop has damaged the internals of the battery. TL:DR Avoid dropping it as best as possible to avoid battery damage, or risk having a potential battery failure and ruining your EDC 25. It can handle a few drops from a reasonable height (e.g. : getting out of the car and the EDC is on your lap, or accidentally slipping out of your pocket -- stuff like that).

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Robust EDC Flashlight
*by A***H on 20 July 2026*

I’ve had this for about 2 and a half months and it’s been a superb flashlight. It’s bright and lasts a good while. I carry it every day and use it for work as a welder. The pocket clip is strong and sturdy, it’s either clipped on my pocket or on my welding helmet. And the button are easy to use even with welding gloves on. The locking feature is very nice to have. I have also dropped it count less times. Especially from my helmet. Glad I got this model instead of the ones with the screen as I’m pretty rough with my stuff. Would buy more flashlights from Nitecore.
