Very happy. *by A***P on Reviewed in the United States on 23 June 2017* I have a small man-made pond in my back yard that has two basins: a top basin that cascades into the bottom basin. We have a UV light in the pond that is supposed to keep it algae-free, but after we put fish in the pond, it was clear that the UV light wasn't working because the pond quickly turned green and cloudy. I bought these pond balls out of desperation because we couldn't even see the fish it was so cloudy! Even though I don't think we have 1,000 gallons in the entire pond, I decided to drop in two balls (one in top and one in bottom). The pond is probably about three feet deep and it was so bad I couldn't even see the balls after I dropped them in. Like an impatient child I checked the pond every day to see if there was any difference. I was beginning to doubt their efficacy until around day 10 when I could suddenly make out the ball at the bottom of the pond! Now at day 23, the water is nice and clear and we can enjoy our fish again! The algae hasn't completely come off the rocks, but I will continue to treat the pond with a new ball every 30 days to see if the rocks clear up.
