I’ve tried all of them and this one has the least offensive taste and is thick. Generics are runny and taste terrible due to alcohol in them among other things. The inactive ingredients really affect how they taste- this one is better than all of the other Orajel lines- pkg color and exact name matters too- read carefully. Most important, it helps a lot with tooth and gum pain.

This product works fast and does reduce the pain.

The tube has a precise tip, which makes it easy to apply the gel to the areas of my tooth (or gums) that hurt. The gel works in mere seconds for me, and numbs the area well. One application can last a few hours for me, depending on the severity of my tooth pain. But usually, a little bit goes a long way. The gel is clear, and has no real taste to it; it just numbs the area, and that's all I feel. I appreciate that there's no bitter taste; also, I like that (since it is clear), then it doesn't show if I am talking or something. This tube can last me quite a while, as I use it only when I'm having some difficulty with tooth/gum pain. I'd say the size of the tube is decent, and it's also easy to take with me in my purse or bag. This is a great item, and really does work wonders for me; it's pain relief and numbing works fast, and this is the brand I go to. Excellent product and value!

The Orajel 3x for Toothache worked well for some minimal gum and tooth pain I’ve been experiencing. This was my first time using a product like this. I will use it again in the future but only when absolutely necessary as there are some downsides. The application out of the tube can be challenging and it is hard to tell if it was applied to the correct location. Your check / tongue will also go numb if the gel gets on either. It has a good amount of product in the tube and only a small amount is needed to relieve any pain. It lasts for about an hour which is long enough for a standard pain medication to kick in. It works well for immediate relief.

Works great

I love this for when I have cankers or toothaches. The taste is not bad at all, and it lasts for a decent amount of time. The price is great for the amount you get, and unless you are eating it like a snack, then it will last a while. Its super easy to use and just apply directly to needed spot, with almost instant pain relief! Great for all ages! My baby uses it, my grandma uses it, I use it! (different tubes obvi)
