This coffee grinder gives you a competition level grinding at a fraction of the price. I have an Eureka Mignon Filtro, and I get great filtered coffee with it, but this manual grinder gives me a level of uniformity that is simply not possible with my electric grinder. It grinds effortlessly also. The only downside is that the capacity is not too much, it is enough for two cups of coffee, but for three you may have to refill it.

Disregarding the sieve, and the somewhat confusing scale instructions, all other features are very, very, very good, and highly recommended for the casual coffee enthusiast who prefers to manually grind their coffee.

This is a sleeper for espresso! Micro adjustments at its best. Would highly recommend to all!!!!

This grinder is the second manual grinder I've owned - the other being a Hario Slim Plus. The Blade R3 is a good step up. The grinds are more consistent, has a wider range, and just feels better. The grinder is easy to clean after use with a little air and the included cleaning brush. I don't really use the sieve because I already have the larger MHW-3Bomber sifter, but it is a nice addition for smaller doses. If you have a particularly oily batch of beans, the sieves will just clog. This is true of any sifter though. I do like the magnetic base. The magnets are nice and strong, and the precision machined parts slide together nicely to make a stable connection. The grind action is very smooth on medium-course and up, but it does have an issue with grinding fine: the cylinder can be hard to grip, causing it to turn in your hand when the grinder snags. This is where I see the complaints about the magnetic base being valid, as it can be hard to find a comfortable way to hold it near the top when trying to push through. I ended up using a non-slip kitchen glove in order to get a good fine grind. Overall, and in my limited experience with manual grinders, this is an excellent grinder which could be made better with some slightly better ergonomics or at least non-slip material around the top of the cylinder.

Se siente firme, sólido, de materiales de calidad, es bastante estético y cómodo de usar, respecto a las moliendas para espresso son un poco más difíciles de moler, sin embargo no es nada de otro mundo, lo único malo al momento es que se tiende a rallar con facilidad en las zonas donde se une con los imanes y en la zona donde se enroscan los filtros

Muy bonito y vistoso. Se siente de muy buena calidad. La molienda es bastante consistente. Tengo la percepción de que muele más rápido que mi anterior molino manual, que de por sí es bueno. Cada que puedo, voy mejorando algunos accesorios de mi setup cafetero; sin duda, esta es una buena elección en cuanto a calidad/precio. Recomiendo posicionar la mano que sostiene el cilindro, al momento de moler, en la parte más superior de este, ya que, si la dejas muy abajo, puede que, sin querer, gires la cápsula que recibe el café molido y, como es de cierre por imanes, podría llegar a abrirse accidentalmente.
