Deeper Connect Mini(2020 Version) Basic VPN Router for Home Use, Simple Secure Wi-Fi Device

I’ve tried a few VPNs before, but they often slowed down my connection or disconnected randomly. This little device feels like a better solution — setup took just a few minutes, and the connection has been smooth ever since. Streaming and gaming work perfectly with no noticeable lag, and I really appreciate that it’s a one-time purchase instead of another monthly subscription. What I like most is the control it gives me. Through the app, I can route certain apps through a proxy while keeping others on the regular network, which VPNs usually can’t do. It’s compact, quiet, and just works — definitely a more stable and convenient option than the usual VPN services.

I connected the Deeper Connect Mini to my Starlink setup, and it’s honestly more stable than I expected. The device is super compact and basically works right out of the box with no hassle. Its privacy protection is solid too, and I feel a lot safer browsing now. Starlink sometimes has small signal hiccups, but with the Mini, it barely affects my daily use. Overall, it’s a great value for the price, and definitely worth trying if you want a smoother and more secure network experience.

It was very easy to set up in its default mode. There is a learning curve to use all the functions on the website, and I am still finding them out. My laptop sees it well, and if only I could find how to make my Apple TV see it as well I would be in heaven. I will keep learning I suppose. All in all very small, well put together, well boxes, and if continues working it is has for the last month or so well worth the price.

If you buy this you’re going to need an extra power cable to connect the antenna. The power and antenna cables are the same. Others have the same problem with the mini. The 2nd one i received had the same problem. I had it connected and running in minutes. Speed and range are good.

At first I was frustrated because my original unit failed, but the seller eventually provided a replacement without any extra cost. The new Deeper Connect Mini is stable and performs as advertised. Since they fixed the problem and the current device works well, I’m updating my review to 5 stars

Final Review (2 month in use & experiences): ----------------- First off, by no means its a bad device but a need of balance how you use it * Best use case scenario just allow a few important devices you want full internet privacy, this means hiding your traffic from your ISP from Spying on you. * FULL ROUTINE MODE = INTERCEPS traffic Full encryption END-to-END points routing all your devices effected by this * SMART MODE = somewhere between (FULL MODE & DIRECT MODE) * DFIRECT MODE = neutra mode, allows normal internet traffic flow * BLACK HOLE = BLOCK device to internet, only allows intranet. * Use ACCESS CONTROL, to manage the devices you wish to control. leave rest of other devices Pros/Cons: ----------------- * No more VPN annual or monthly premiums. * This is worth getting if you seek a device connections to be FULL PRIVACY (from ISP spying you) connected as FULL ROUTING MODE MODE. * Good travel companion, its USB-powered, power requirement 5v @ 2.5a from USB-A to C. * Either WiFi mode or LAN mode, cannot do both. * It utilizes same network DHCP range of your existing network, so if you wish to manage your DPN traffic and FIleServer sharing devices, it must PASS THROUGH and connect to this device to manage your INTERNET/INTRANET traffic flow. Summary: * Not all website supports regional country routed traffic (so user need to understand with some knowledge and undsertanding of regional settings) This is a good "personal investment", hopefully DeeperNetwork makes a newer PREMIUM/PROFESSIONAL/POWERFUL version where it can do more than a few devices while maintaining lower latency. - I will be a repeat customer.

I hooked up the Deeper Connect Mini to our home Wi‑Fi and it’s been super smooth. Everyone in the house can stream, shop, and work online without worrying about privacy. It was literally plug it in and go—no tech headaches at all. I love that there are no monthly fees, so it just quietly protects us while we use the internet. I have enjoyed the use of my deeper connect mini. In fact I have missed it so much I gave a poor review. I'm truly sorry about this as this seller has gone the extra distance and is replacing the one I have with a new one. Because they have been so kind to help and they believe in their product I will be buying one soon for my parents as so they can enjoy geo region freedom of movies and shows even programing in other countries instead of being locked into their region only. I have got the deeper connect air and it has worked perfectly since I've gotten it and until I get the replacement I'm going to utilize that to be able to watch the programming I have still come to enjoy since I've had the deeper connect products so I've bought the deeper connect mini and the deeper connect air plus I'm going to buy another deeper connect mini for my parents so I can tell you this is definitely a product I believe in and I definitely recommend it the reason being if there's any issues these sellers go the extra mile to make sure that you're happy with your product as they've done with me thank you so much for your time and helping me get the answers that I needed and deal with the frustration of not being able to enjoy those programs I can hardly wait till everything is back to normal again here's wishing everybody a good day and be confident in your choices I know I am Darcey

This device is not suitable for average users. Setting it up is extremely challenging. I’ve tried all possible combinations in the access control settings, but I’m still unable to achieve the desired outcome. Additionally, the internet connection becomes inconsistent and slower when this device is connected. It hardly blocks YouTube ads. In fact, most of the time, the first thing that appears after opening a video is an ad. Their customer support is also very poor. I’ve been dealing with them for over a week, but their responses have been completely useless.
