A great, cheap PLA filament that produces great results
I’ve been using 3Dhojor filaments for a while now, and they’ve consistently delivered solid results—this red PLA is no exception. It’s a darker shade of red, which was actually exactly what I needed for my latest project. Rich and deep, not overly bright, and it gives prints a clean, professional look.I’m printing on a Bambu Lab A1, and the filament ran through the AMS with no problems. Standard PLA settings worked great—no clogs, no tangles, and the layer adhesion was excellent. It just works, which is exactly what I want in a filament. One of the biggest selling points is the price—it’s very affordable, especially considering the quality. For the cost, this is easily one of the better PLAs I’ve used. Great for both functional prints and aesthetic models.Highly recommend if you’re looking for dependable, budget-friendly filament that still delivers clean, reliable prints

Fast, Reliable, and Smooth Prints!
This is hands down one of the best filaments I’ve used! 3DHoJor High Speed PLA lives up to its name—prints fast, with minimal stringing, and the quality is consistently smooth and clean. It feeds beautifully, sticks well to the bed, and handles overhangs and detail impressively. Great color and finish too. I’m seriously impressed and will definitely be buying more. Highly recommend for anyone running faster print speeds without sacrificing quality!

Good experience in the past
I converted to using PETG filament several years ago and have had very good luck with virtually every brand I have tried including this 3DHoJar brand, so I generally go for the best price I can find at the time I order the filiment. I purchases this filiment to have in stock in case the prices go up because of the tariffs.

Not worth the trouble
I bought this PLA with high expectations, after reading quite a few good reviews, LOVING the price, and the bonus of it coming on a cardboard spool, I bought two just to make sure I had enough. And now I have to throw BOTH rolls out.Upon first impression it looked to be stored well, and shipped perfectly with no damage to either container. So I’m not sure if I got a bad batch, if something happened in transport that I’m simply unaware of, or what. But this PLA simply couldn’t print on my printer.I own an Ender V3-Neo, and no matter what heat settings I had it set to, speed, or bed level, it would refuse to adhere to the bed. Alongside that, it wouldn’t even adhere to itself. My prints wouldn’t even make it past the first layer, if they could even get there at all with how bad its adhesion was, and if they DID make it past, the PLA printed so thin that it wouldn’t stick to itself. I of course thought this to be either user error, a bad leveling, an extruder clog, or again a heating issue. But upon going back through all of these possibilities and troubleshooting everything possible, it was OBVIOUS that wasn’t the case.I went through every video I could find on YouTube, every Reddit post, comment forum, anything that could help and quite literally NOTHING worked. This tirade of troubleshooting lasted on and off for a week.I did quite literally everything to try and get it to work, I really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt that I was just struggling on my own at no fault of the PLA. I changed out the print nozzle because the PLA kept backing up and clogging it so badly I figured maybe a new nozzle would help. It did not. I even replaced the bed. I went so far in thinking my printer was the problem that it took two other people helping me troubleshoot to say “let’s try it on a few of our printers” for us to realize that it also didn’t work on any of theirs! And this again wasn’t just one roll, it was both. I’m unsure of what to even do with them now that I’m aware both are useless to me. If this filament works for you, then consider yourself lucky. For the price, this seems like a hidden gem. But truly it is more trouble than it’s worth. Don’t be like me, spend a little extra money on some decent PLA and save yourself the week of angry confused troubleshooting and replacing unnecessary parts. And if you DO have this PLA already and are having the same issues, I promise it is not your printer. It is the PLA. Try a different brand or roll before you freak out replacing parts like I did.

Filament is wet, you need to dry it out first!
Filament: Basic-OrangeSize: 1KgPrinter: Bambu Labs A1 w/ AMSPrinting Plate: Smooth and TexturedNozzle: 0.4mm Hardened Steel• The good:It looks like the color advertised for orange, it comes on a cardboard roll which I like for ease of disposal.• The bad:It comes sealed in a non resealable vacuum packed bag. This really should be resealable as not everyone is a print shop and keeping your filament dry is key. Also after opening the bag, I tested its moisture content and it was close to 40%!!! That is way too high for filament and you can't print with it at that point. I started drying it out with silica beads to get the moisture content down. It took 4 days at constant 68F or 20C to get it below 20% moisture content. Every time I tested the filament it would start to string on printing for anything above 15% moisture content. 15% is the highest you can print at with it to not have it string while printing.• Overall View:If you don't need to print right away and can let it sit in a dry box for a week or more then go ahead with this brand. I didn't notice any smell issues, adhesion was not an issue to the plates (Bambu plates are good about sticking well without needing glue) and the color looks like what is advertised. Just be aware that the filament is wet and will need to be dried out before use. 10% moisture content is ideal with this one 15% is the highest you can let it get and still be able to print with it. The way I test is get a little humidity senor that runs on a coin battery and throw it in the resealable bag with the spool along with a couple of silica bead bags to absorb the moisture. Once it gets to 15 or below you should be good to print with it without issue.
