Pretty easy for a 6yr old to use mostly independently. Stickers to decorate are cute and the needle is plastic so it’s kid friendly.

I used the kit to teach an 8 year old about sewing. She absolutely loved it and asked to keep the kit to make the rest of the items. The next day, her parent sent me a picture of the pillow she made. It’s a great introduction to seeing. The holes were helpful as a guide. She was able to add additional holes for secure stitches.

Perfect gift for 6 year old Girl! The hand eye coordination is a Great motor skill for her to work with and I loved how she was learning something my grandma taught me how to do. The price was great especially for gifts who love crafts. Very easy to follow directions and very cute final products!

My niece was THRILLED as she was sewing the purse and pillow! She literally said it was her favorite gift, and this was after celebrating both her birthday and Christmas on the same day! She is 7 years old and crafty, and it was so fun to see her put this craft together! The quality and design of the materials are also so perfect for this age. The cat purse is just too cute and I was surprised by the vibrancy of the color and the size of the cat purse (it was big!). With a little adult help she was able to really do quite a bit independently and the directions seemed manageable. I am so happy I bought this one and can have cool aunt status for a little while!

Good amount of projects. I have split this box up and that was easy to do. The grands will be kept busy.
