They carry wide, which isn't that wide, BUT, just wet the shoes and put them on to loosen the straps and voila! The most comfortable shoes you will ever wear! When I noticed the sole at the heals had worn down, but not into the actual shoe, I dropped them off at my shoe repair person's shop and he replaced just that portion. Looks like it was original! The only reason I replaced the ones I had, which I continue to wear daily, is they are looking worn out. I have a black pair arriving in about a month.
