This is a nicely made stainless steel mate cup with a wide, comfortable shape. My hands are medium-sized and it feels ok to hold, though people with smaller hands might find it a bit wide. The matte finish looks great and feels durable, not cheap or prone to scratching. Insulation is excellent. I poured boiling water in and it stayed hot for around 40 minutes. The sides stayed completely cool, only the lip warmed up a bit. No metallic taste at all. The mouth is wider than a traditional gourd, which makes it easy to fill and very easy to clean, but possibly easier to spill. One thing to note: the rubber foot on the bottom fell off when it arrived (it was cold that day), but after pressing it back on firmly it seems to be staying put. Just something to be aware of. The bombilla draws smoothly, but the bottom piece comes off. I’m not sure if that’s intentional for cleaning or just a weak connection, my other bombillas are all one solid piece. It’s not loose enough to fall off easily, but I’d still keep an eye on it when drinking so it doesn’t detach inside the yerba. Overall it’s a solid, attractive mate cup that insulates well and feels good in the hand, with the only real question mark being the two-part bombilla.

The mate cup is the perfect size for drinking alone or sharing with friends. Its design is very delicate, it keeps the water at the desired temperature, and the size and weight are ideal. I highly recommend it.

I like the design of the cup and how it is heavy and a good quality. I do also like that it is something that is easy to clean, but does not have a lid that comes with it. It is easy to hold as the lip extends a little bit so you don’t have to worry about it, slipping out your hands and I like the size of it because it’s just a small little cup like for tea or a small cup of coffee or if you’re mixing a drink, then you can mix it with the spoon as well. Use the spoon as a straw. It’s a very functional.

this cup is well made. everything feels solid and sturdy. The overall build quality is great. However, it's very small. I didn't expect that it is that small. If I knew the size of it, I wouldn't order it.
