I LOVE this nail builder! It's a nice thick consistency. I recommend slowly spinning the wand stem in circles as you pull up the brush with product so you don't have too much builder moving down to the brush as you work.I've used very expensive name brand gel builders and this definitely holds up. If your new at doing your nails, this is a great starter gel since its not expensive.I found it a little slow at self leveling, but this can be good at first learning since it gives you time to make adjustments. I do use the turning hands over to build the apex before curing and this is where I noticed it's slower than some others I've used. Even saying this I don't consider it a bad thing, because sometimes you don't want it moving too fast... Besides at this price point you can always buy another gel builder that has a faster self level if that's what you're looking for.This gel is fantastic at bonding other polishes (even non-gel). I've had great look at this with glitter gel polish and traditional glitter polish. If you follow the directions and maybe watch a few YouTube videos you should not have issues with this popping off your nails.I highly recommend a nail dehydrater after a light buffing (make sure your nails are free from any dust before applying the dehydrater... Even rubbing alcohol can be used in a pinch). Following this, I had no issues with the builder coming off.I HIGHLY recommend and most definitely will purchase this again and again!!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I bought this because it had a lot of great reviews. It is very easy to use. Some complain that it is runny but I think that is why it is so easy to work with. It’s not runny it’s just not thick like corn syrup. Works great.

Just used this for the first time and let me TELL YOU! Not only is it easy to work with but it cured quick, lasts long, and doesn’t peel like other brands! It’s not sticky so no need to wipe. I got clear for the builder gel and used gel polish for the color

Would not recommend trying to build a nail with this using the forms. It’s too thin for that. This is used mainly to strengthen your natural nail.

I have never used a builder gel before, but I was looking for something less time consuming. When I do my nails, I use a dip powder, which seems to take forever with all of the filing, even though I have an E-file. I did research on how to use this product correctly and had no issues applying it. I used this over my natural nails, which still had some of the dip powder on them for strength purposes because I am rough on my hands due to working in a warehouse.What worked for me was I prepared my nails by buffing them and then cleaning them with a rubbing alcohol and then using a dehydrator. Once that is dry, put a base coat on and place under the UV for 120 seconds (2 minutes). The base coat will still be tacky, put a coat of the builder gel on (don't forget your free edge) and hold your hand upside down for 5-10 seconds (this builds the apex) and then place under the UV for 120 seconds (2 minutes). The builder gel will also be tacky, put another coat of the builder gel on (again don't forget your free edge) and hold your hand upside down for 5-10 seconds and then place under the UV for 120 seconds (2 minutes). At this point, you can add another level of the builder gel if you like, or you can paint your nails as you normally would, but after either one you will still need to place under UV for 120 seconds (2 minutes). After you are completely done, remember to add a top coat and once again, place under the UV for 120 seconds (2 minutes).

This builder gel works but is pretty tricky to work with because it's quite thin.It's probably easier to use for beginners, but there's definitely better ones out there.
