Granite Mill Farms is a family run business in the mountains of Northwestern Montana. We are excited to offer a healthy alternative to conventional flour with our variety of Sprouted Flour Organic Stone Ground Whole Grains. 5 lb.

Review: Makes better bread than regular flour - I found this emmer flour to be incredibly tasty, has a nice color, and smells wonderful. Even better than Einkorn flour. Be aware that the dough is very sticky and doesn't rise well, so I found it was better to mix is about 1:1 with regular bread flour. This give a normal rise and crumb but maintains the excellent taste and smell. Einkorn doesn't need that mixing with regular flour, but Einkorn wasn't quite as flavorful.
Review: excellent flour - made a lovely bread using the Tassajara basic whole wheat bread recipe; good crumb & awesome aroma & taste.
