I don’t know why the reviews weren’t better. Using my snore app, my snoring went from nearly 300 db to 23 db! I’m easily faggy, and this was the smaller device that worked better than the others by far. Jutted my lower jaw out enough to make a considerable difference on my snoring and oxygen intake! Didn’t make me drool like the others did either. No crappy mounding to your teeth to do. Just plug and play. Yes I had a minor amount of teeth and jaw tenderness the first few days, but I’m barely a week in and no longer experiencing it. You have to expect long term use will lead to some tender moments when forcing your jaw in an opposite direction. But my snoring, oxygen intake and heart health is worth it. CPAP didn’t help, but this sure as heck did!

Within the last few years I have been dealing with extreme snoring that has also caused breathing issues. The snoring got so bad my wife no longer sleeps in our bed. The breathing issues really scared her, and then started to scare me. In 2023, it got so bad that I was waking up every 1.5 to 2 hours. I was so exhausted and it was affecting every part of my life. I was planning to start a sleep study to get a diagnosis. Which we all know results in a cpap. Before I signed up I wanted to try cheaper options. I tried 2 mouth pieces. Both were bulky and very uncomfortable. The mouth soars from the hard plastic was horrible. Although both did help reduce the snoring, which also helped the breathing issues I was still waking up (less often) and not getting good sleep. It just was not worth the mouth pain and continued exhaustion. In January 2024 I was watching a podcast short and saw a bit for zQuit. I did some more research and saw that it was very different than other mouth pieces. So I ordered the starter kit. I’ve been using it for about 30 days. What a difference! I have had great sleep every night and I feel rested and rejuvenated. I use the size 1 and see no need to change to the size 2. My wife says I still snore, but no where near like I did and I am not having any breathing issues. Every night I have slept a full 8 hours and wake up to my alarm. Plus my wife has started to phase back into sleeping in our bed. Score!!! Yes you will have some mouth soreness and a little pain. But it is not due to the hard plastic or anything rubbing or poking like the others. It is due to your lower jaw being pushed forward. That is no different than the others. What is different is that it is comfortable while you sleep and causes no sores after you take it out. The soreness does subside the more you use it. Don’t give up! The zQuit flexible material makes a huge difference! I’m so glad I tried a cheaper option than a cpap and am using zQuit. It truly changed my quality of life!

I purchased this device on 2/24/2024. It is now 4/10/2024 and I've used it every single night. It worked great in the beginning. After maybe 3 nights of getting used to it I was sleeping like I haven't experienced in years. It's very uncomfortable and the drool is disgusting, but those were acceptable trade offs for the sleep I was now getting. One week ago it stopped working. I gave it a full week to confirm before writing this. Sure enough, I'm now a week into using it every night with no sleep as it is now ineffective. For the last week, I've woken up probably a dozen times every nigh to find that it's still in my mouth but my bottom jaw has slipped out of it and in it's usual sleep position, meaning the device is doing nothing but sitting in my mouth serving no purpose I believe the material has lost it's initial rigidity and is no longer holding my bottom jaw in place. That means (for me) it only lasted a little over a month. Perhaps if you're a person that sleeps with your mouth closed it would continue to work for you. Technically it worked, and worked well. But with a shelf life of one month ($40/month) I'm compelled to try other options instead of purchasing another one of these. I may find they all only work one month. We'll see.
