this is the second purchase I made, as I had read reviews before buying and many said that the shoe size ran small. Having a small foot (women size 5 to 5 1/2) I purchased a medium and it was way too big and fit loose. I was desperate as I know my toe was broken, as large filled jar had rolled off my refrigerator shelf while I was cleaning it and hit my foot, smashing it pretty bad. I could not wear any shoes at all for the first week, and could not put any weight on it, so I attempted to use the medium, but it was very uncomfortable and did not really help as it was too big. So I reordered a small! What a difference! I was able to move around and be about with very little pain or pressure. Because I am diabetic, my feet are more sensitive & it is very important that I care for them properly. I do rehighly recommend this product, providing you size it right. Don't mind some of these reviews in regards to the size, as this shoe is adjustable.

Seems well made but the size large is for a woman’s 8 to 10 I wear a size 7 1/2 to 8 US size and my toes hangover the end of the shoe which defeats the purpose of protecting my broken toe. I tried to return it because it is so small and order an extra large and you do not sell an extra large nor do you take returns. I feel like this shoe should definitely be marketed as a small to medium definitely not a large. I will not order from this company again.

I ordered the shoe based on the guide on Amazon's page. "If you wear under a size 6.5, order small. If you wear larger than a size 8, order large." I wear a 6.5 to 7 and ordered a medium. When it arrived, the shoe is too short, my big toe hangs off the end, and the other toes rub on the edge of the shoe. It is painful. I don't know if ordering a large would have been any better. I would not order this brand again.

This surgical shoe was comfy runs a little bit big but when you can't wear a shoe on your foot it will do the trick.

I got a size medium in this boot for my tondonitis in the top of my foot. The boot fits left or right foot. It wear a size 7 and it felt a bit to small in the sense of my toes slipping out the top of the boot. But besides that, good quality.

This is made small. I wear a women’s size 9 and the large was too small. My toes hung over the edge. I was never able to wear it cause it came later than it was supposed to.
