Once washed these could injure baby by catching on tube they also fall apart easily

It is difficult finding good G-tube belt at an okay cost. The only other option is on Etsy and they get really expensive really fast. We found that we did need a belt for my toddler at least when she's sleeping at night. If she doesn't have one she's prone to pulling out her g-tube while she sleeps. When it comes to this Amazon buy, the velcro is very strong for awhile. This makes the velcro last longer but it is difficult to open and close the pockets. And because the velcro is so tough, the seems that hold the velcro and fabric together start to come apart after only using it for a couple of days. Because it is a better price than the ones on Etsy I have bought about 5 of these now. I learned early on not to machine wash them because it wears out the material, including the velcro and it looses the structure to hold itself up. As in, even when putting it on my baby, after awhile it will hang down on her belly instead of covering her belly. This resulted to pulling on her g-tube . When they get like that I just throw them away because they aren't of any use. I would say for a temporary fix this buy is worth it but it would be better to invest in Etsy. I bought a g-tube belt finally from them and the quality was good. Just do your research.

It doesn’t fit for a newborn . Great concept and would be great for a bigger baby. Mine is only 10lbs . It wouldn’t stay in place and kept moving

This is advertised for babies. It was way way too big for my baby to use. Granted she had trisomy-18 and was small. However, We were never able to use it. She lived to almost six months and reached almost 8 lbs. It was adjustable but the smallest size needed to be about 4-6 inches smaller to use. The way it was made, I could not easily modify it to make it usable either. It was probably more appropriate for a toddler or super chunky/healthy baby. Awesome idea but unusable, at least for us.

Way to big for our girl, has no stretch so if you do it snug enough to stay still it is too tight. Our girl is 13lbs and it is way to big. Its definitely for an older baby/ child

This is super cute and the material seems durable. The extender piece is a must for my sister but I can see that with a growing child this can be amazing. I’m sure it will wash well and the Velcro isn’t super abrasive but still sticks well. It’s easy to adjust and the belt isn’t overly wide.
