A: As I recall, the length was approximately 3 inches. However, from what I understand, the length, width and thickness can vary. The ingot however, is very pure, melts easily, and is perfect for experimental work. I trust this helps, as metal producers vary the dimensions of their final products, considerably.

A: It is very pure tin safe for cooking pans. I did a few copper pots. sand them down really well and use flux.
