Very happy.
Good product. It is as quiet as a propane torch I use for soldering. However, it is not really very good for thick stuff like tree stems that we have growing between the cement joints. It burns them, but not compeltely to the ground unless you burn them a long time. Not a good use of prane to me.

Works good for weed control in the patio. I don't think it would work good for snow and ice melt It is safe and easy to use.

Flame on !!!
Great build great quality product. It works better than the one I had for years that rusted out. Light weight and easy to handle. puts out a decent flame for starting campfires, trash barrels, burning spider webs, burning the lawn. Its easy to carry easy to weld. Going to order more for the neighbors.

Tried it, Returned it the same day.
If you are considering this product for snow and ice removal, as it is intended, save your time and money. The flame is too small and propane simply does not burn hot enough. It took close to 15 minutes to clear a 1'x1' square on my sidewalk, and that was in above freezing conditions melting fluffy snow. It would have taken hours upon hours just to clear my walkway and sidewalk. It reminded me of trying to paint a wall with a Q-tip. After and hour or so it was back in the box and off to UPS.You've been warned

It works but take some time
With the Rock salt shortage this winter in tri-states, this was the alternative that I have tried. Not total failure, but not very sucessful either. Yes, the flame will melt the stubborn ice slowly. On a 10 degree F night out, I have tried melting 5 steps of 1' x 3' stairs, with average of half an inch thick ice. I have blasted the flame to the max with regular propane and probably will get done in half an hour. BUT as the propane cylinder loss pressure, it became frozen and the flame got weaker and went out within 15 minutes of usage. I have aquire information from friends about "MAP-Pro", which should burn a lot hotter compare to propane, I will try that after I finished up this propane. Second issue, salt melt ice and it will remain as water. The torch melt the ice, but it will freeze again overnight if not dried up immediately on a flat surface. Therefore, my drive way on a slope was fine using the torch as water drained but not the stairs.

Bare Ground is Great for Snow Removal
I was very happy to find that snow did not stick to bare ground and thus shoveling was not such a chore last winter. However,it is necessary to get it down at least 2 hours before the snow starts and this is often difficult to do. The pumps did not work very well; I hope they will improve this method of getting it down. It is much better than rock salt. On the other hand, if snow gets deep and heavy, it does not do a good job. Overall it is a good product. I'll try it again next winter.
