Fresh, Flavorful, and Chewy
As far as I'm concerned, the Broadway Black Licorice Wheels Candy, 8 Ounce Bag, Licorice Wheels Candy was FRESH, not stale at all. I am a licorice freak and picky about my licorices. These are fresh and chewy with a nice black licorice flavor. I would definitely recommend them.

Bitter end...
I was excited to give this licorice a try! My husband and I were divided. He loved it, I thought it was a little bitter at the end. We both love black licorice, but this was a bit more his style; I like my licorice a little more on the sweeter side. I did appreciate the shape. There was something quite pleasing about nibbling on little round licorice. It's clear this is a nice quality licorice and I am certain my husband would purchase again. It's a decent price for fancy, dare I say, more gourmet candies. This isn't twizzlers, this is the real stuff and intensely so! It should satisfy the licorice lover!

Good licorice. Crappy packaging.
These showed up in a box with 2 or 3 other items. The cellophane package was stiff and had come open so the licorice was rolling around in the box. We only needed them to decorate a cake. I sampled a small bite. They were tasty. Two stars for the crappy packaging.
