Review: One my favourite children books - Absolutely love this book, it was always a family favourite when my kids were youngers, I've also shared this book with as many family and friends as possible in the hope they would enjoy it. This is the first time I've bought it in a hard back versions and I do prefer it as I hope it will remain in good condition for longer.

Absolutely love this book, it was always a family favourite when my kids were youngers, I've also shared this book with as many family and friends as possible in the hope they would enjoy it. This is the first time I've bought it in a hard back versions and I do prefer it as I hope it will remain in good condition for longer.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute gem of a book

This book is something truly different - so simple and yet original in concept with lovely illustration and a story that is both sweet and sends a message. My son loves it, we love reading it to him. We have pretty much bought all the other Allan Ahlberg books based on how much we like this one, but the Pencil remains the firm favourite.
