I have several thousand dollars of industrial grade, professional electrical test instruments. I have worked at a very high level of skilled industries from nuclear powered submarines to automobile assembly plants. This device is not that and it doesn't need to be. This is a much simpler device that does what it needs to do and serves its purpose well. If you have a battery drawer (and who doesn't), you know very well that no matter how well intentioned we might be in organizing these costly little power cells, they often still become a mix of question marks. This tester is a very simple method of confirming a battery is or is not up to the task. You can read the the meter movement if you'd like but you can also use it as quick go/no go indicator. Simple and effective.
