PURITO Pure Vitamin C Serum

I was shocked when I read the one star reviews below because this product is already this color and it is not oxidized at all.. This serum is from south korea -i am korean- and I searched their website to find the product detail. The reviews saying they got the oxidized product are not true. I took a screenshot from the purito.co.kr I don't usually write a review but I did because this serum is really really worked well on my skin. This is an excellent product compared to the price.

This is a good vit C product, at a very fair price. The bottle lasts a long time and I love that it has a spritz lid. Helps avoiding exposing the bottle to light. Love this!

edit: Now that I've used a different vitamin C product that works and isn't torturous, I have to downgrade this even further. While it did lighten and brighten, it caused a crazy amount of redness and irritation, smelled horrible, and oxidized within a few months even though I kept it in the fridge. ----- This product has a really awful smell-- a metallic, meaty odor. When I first used it I didn't think I'd be able to get past the smell, but I eventually found a technique that works for me-- I apply a thin film of this in the morning to a dry face, then wait for it to completely dry on my skin. After that I apply moisturizer on top. This seals in the scent under the moisturizer. If you apply moisturizer before it is completely dry/absorbed, it mixes in with the moisturizer and you will smell the horrible hot dog odor all day. It does sting and makes my cheeks get a little bit red/irritated. However, I am also using Differin several nights/week so it may just be that my skin is unusually sensitive. The redness does calm down after about 20 minutes, though, and it helped by a light application of Aquaphor. This product does work, though! I definitely noticed fading of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (the dark spots that can follow acne) and an overall brightening effect. I poured 2/3 of the bottle out into a spare amber glass dropper bottle that I had and I keep that in the fridge so that it would last longer. As noted in the info above, the product does start out with a pale yellow color and according to Purito, it is still okay to use unless it oxidizes to the point where it is dark brown. This is the first vitamin C product I have used, so I'll bet there are more elegant formulations out there, but this works well and is reasonably priced.

It is the only vitamin C serum, which doesn’t give me allergic reaction as breaking out. And the only product in Purito which doesn’t break my skin out as well :). Keep it refrigerated after opening and use it every night or every other night if sking is too sensitive on clean face b4 you go sleep.

This is has helped my get rid of my dark spots from acne and has also helped with redness. Whenever I use it, however, my skin starts to sting and slightly burn but it is tolerable and does not cause me to break out more. I use my Snail Mucin Essence and Beta-Glucan Moisturizer afterwards and the stinging and burning sensation is lessened. I like the outcome/result of the product, but am not a huge fan of the stinging sensation during application and for this reason will not be purchasing again. My friend also purchased this product but it does not irritate their skin, so my skin is probably just more sensitive. This seller (PURITO KOREA) is also directly from the company itself. DISCLAIMER: Do not use any Vitamin C product at the same time as any acids (AHA/Salicylic Acid, BHA, PHA, etc.) as the benefits will cancel each other out. You can use one in the morning and one in the night or alternate days for which product you use.

Have only used twice but my skin is definitely brighter. I have very crabby skin and this doesnt clog me at all! No white heads in the morning after using this! Yay. But it smells AWFUL 😩 Fishy, so definitely oxidized.

Very good serum. Effective results. Good price too. Be careful when applying as it will stain the whites of your nails a yellowish colour, but that's a moot point if you wear nail lacquer I suppose.

Vitamin C usually takes a while but I can definitely say that this works..... Very slowly, but it works. My only word of advice it the smell takes some getting used too.... Like hold your breath the 1st few times.... Lol
