As this isn't a battery operated clipper, I have no idea why their review is asking about the battery life!! It's a fantastic clipper, best I have tried for my Maltese/shitzhu cross. I manage to clip her in record time now. IT's very quiet and very efficient. I wish I had bought it 7 years ago when I got my dog.

I had this 2 months it worked then started falling apart and making a noise when switched on and sounded not very good and bought combs separate with it and got all lot together and not worth the money so I stopped using it on my puppy with the noise and falling apart and didn't want to hurt her if I tried to use it so it was money wasted and very disappointed that it didn't last I cleaned and oiled it and try to take comb off to change length but it wouldn't come off like it says in the instructions and manual that came with it the bag and box when it was being delivered was good and on time but my puppy did fidget alot due to the noise and wires so I'm going to buy cordless ones in future she's fine with them had 1 lot before but they were also went blunt not long after 2 uses like this so I know which two out of many to choose but try some that is in my budget and affordable I look at all reviews and star ratings etc much more now then I did before to get good quality and my puppy has thick fur so trying to find the right ones that does this type of fur and not noisy or have any cords to plug in will be better off me trying out on my cockapoo puppy she just sits there and let's me do her with any trimmers I got some for doing her face,paws,scissors if I need to ever trim any excess off her but it's a rarity she's been clipped before with trimmers with me and my friends and she just either lays down or sit down when I tell her she's getting trimmed and I always reward her and talk to her etc to keep her happy and calm like she always is and she's very good puppy

my dog is so much happier with these quieter clippers o, and they cut very smooth too

Only bought this item 7 months ago used 3 times and it’s now not working properly there’s a noise coming from it and not cutting properly

This is a review of "Wahl Professional Animal Thick Coat Pet Clipper & Dog Clipper, Tough Coat, Powerful, Lightweight, 4.2m Long Cable, Quiet Clipping, Stress Free, Cat Trimmer, Horse Trimmer, Livestock Trimmer" I was slightly surprised to receive these without any outer-box packaging (other than the Amazon box) - they arrived in just the supplied Wahl pouch - but on refelction I suppose that's good as there is no unnecessary packaging. A comprehensive set - in addition to the clippers you get Wahl’s #7F Ultimate Competition Series blade, blade oil, a cleaning brush, and instruction booklet. They are two-speed and are very quiet and smooth in operation. I've only used them so far for some light trimming around the paws and face of my Cockapoo, and it is great to now be able to do this myself between full grooms - not sure I'd trust myself to take over from my dog groomer just yet! They do seem on the expensive side, but this is Wahl and it's professional-level equipment, so perhaps not. - - - - - - - - - - Note: As a member of the Vine program I was supplied with this item free of charge. Angry as hell! Unfortunately I have missed the return window by a few days. These clippers were great, I thought, but I have used them only twice, and now they keep cutting out, like there's a loose wire somewhere. Total waste of money 🤬

They cut great but get hot very quickly
