I recently tried it out at an outdoor bbq competition. Had people from all over the grounds coming by taking picks of the crazy guy with a bbq hammock. Slept so well. Got enough room in pole rings to attach hammock and maybe a cover. Hitch setup is very sturdy and size spreads out enough for my 5’ 10” and 250 lb frame. I would buy again.

What an amazing idea to make sleep so comfortable. I have extra hitch mounts welded to my bbq trailer for utilities like this and other tasks. I recently tried it out at an outdoor bbq competition. Had people from all over the grounds coming by taking picks of the crazy guy with a bbq hammock. Slept so well. Got enough room in pole rings to attach hammock and maybe a cover. Hitch setup is very sturdy and size spreads out enough for my 5’ 10” and 250 lb frame. I would buy again.

Why didn't it come with a storage bag? The hammock stand sets up and takes down very easily and seems to be very sturdy! We haven't used it other than setting it up on the back of our jeep in the driveway but it was comfortable with enough setback from the jeep to keep us away from the rear mounted spare tire. I think we will enjoy it on camping trips and picnic excursions. Now for the big downside: It didn't come with a storage bag to keep the components in while not being used!! Why?? Even a cheap nylon zipper bag would be sufficient to keep the poles and hammock in so the don't roll around in the bag while driving. This could have very easily been a five star item if it had a storage option. Even if it pushed the price up a few dollars it would have been ok. I would probably buy this again because I really like it but it could have perfect...
