This lamp is fabulous! This was my third try on a lamp that worked for me. What I like is the height, brightness levels (simply slide your finger on the control for less to more bright), color levels, easy to figure out, light covers a broad area, the base is heavier than most (it is not flimsy), it goes back to the same setting when I turn it back on, and it runs by electricity. There is some assembly required which is easy to figure out.

I am completely satisfied with this lamp and just purchased a second one. I have it located on my sewing machine and use it probably five out of seven days. I appreciate its functionality, particularly the light intensity that is sufficient for even my most detailed projects. The light intensity is easily adjusted with a simple slide of a finger on the base. The kind/color of the light is adjustable from sunlight to bright indoor light and more. I also appreciate that the power button is located on the base and not on the cord. It is weighted to stay upright and in place, yet lightweight enough to reposition easily. The arm is adjustable ,flexible and easy to use. So nice to find a product that meets or exceeds its claim. I am confident the second lamp will do the same for our office area.

Finally, a desk lamp with every imaginable feature that really works! 1) Base is heavy enough so the lamp arm can be adjusted without the entire lamp moving. 2) Ability to adjust the brightness of the light is critical. 3) Ability to change color of the light is also a big plus--one which I didn't realize when I ordered the lamp...oops! 4 No need to reset the brightness/color or every time lamp is used. Lamp retains the settings, but is easy to change. 5) Base is large enough to be functional, but doesn't take up lots of room on the desk. Right after I ordered the lamp (the next day) I noticed the price had been reduced. However, even at the *full* price I'd order again.

I bought two of these lights two years ago for illuminating my two music stands when playing my instruments. I now use one of them for my side table next to my reading chair in the living room. The adjustments for the light type and intensity are what you might expect on a "high-end" light, it's just perfect! I am getting a couple more of these lights and saw some reviews nit-picking either the assembly of the power cord or the light base being too flimsy, not true. This light is very stable, easy to use and has an understated elegance. Accidentally bumping the light will not topple it and the firm adjustable neck coil holds the light firmly in place. It's a solid fixture to be used anywhere in the house or shop. I don't write many reviews, but this light deserves some of my time as I feel it's a great bargain. I hope you give this a try. And remember, you get what you pay for with bargain priced lights, this is just a bargain...period.

So the pros: Great brightness, appreciate the range. The base has a nice weight, and it's low profile. I feel like the overall size is probably ideal for most desk lamps, not HUGE but also not tiny. Simple assembly, but see below. The cons: Assembly is something that could probably be improved with a few minor changes, like swapping the cable length sides so the longer part feeds through the pole before being connected and threaded. The entry for the DC plug is a very tight fit, but overall not a major problem. The housing for the actual LEDs feels paper thin, like if I were to grab it; it would crumple like paper.

Very nice lamp for a great price. Easy to put together and use. Its relatively compact size is perfect for my desk without taking up too much space. I like the adjustable brightness feature

What a great light. The base is heavy enough that you can adjust the goose neck to almost any position and the lamp does not topple over. The controls are easy to see and are not overly sensitive; my elderly relative has no trouble using them. It was pretty easy to put together. It puts out a bright, wide ranging light that covers a wide surface area (and yes, the lighting color mode and brightness can be adjusted very easily.) Best of all, my relative says they went from being able to read only a few minutes at a time (eyes tearing and strained with other lighting) to being able to read for very long periods of time (with no eyestrain at all using this lamp.) Be prepared, the base is large compared to other lamps, but we are extremely happy with this product and highly recommend it!

Great desk lamp. Has variable brightness and variable color modes. Because the top half is flexible, it is easy to adjust the height and position of the light.

Great quality desk lamp. I use it as a side table lamp too. Gives great light for reading, or doing homework

The desk lamp was easy to put together. I like that you can adjust the brightness and the angle of the lamp, to suit what you are doing. Would highly recommend.
