I have to admit this stand works really well wherever you decide to use it! I have no complaints. Sturdy & practical. I'd definitely recommend. I purchased it along with the Dangbei Projector, and they make a great pair!

Okay so when I bought this I just assumed that the whole thing folded flat for transport. It's for a tiny portable projector, seems logical, no? One little hinge is all it needs, folks. One little hinge at the base. With that it would it would fit in the OEM case for the projector, and be just perfect. But nope, no hinge, so back to Amazon it went. Come on Dangbei, another $2 in manufacturing costs and this would be suitable for one of the nicest small projectors around. I ended up buying "K&F Concept Mini Projector Tripod", which isn't nearly as nice as this gimbal, but does fold flat and fits nicely in my Dangbei Atom's travel case (which this gimbal would fit in, if it folded flat).

Well build, heavy providing stabilization, would work with other projectors of the type as it uses a standard mounting screw.
