I've been experimenting with different shampoos for a few months to find the right fit. My hair is fine, wavy and of course, living in Florida... Frizzy sometime. They've either left my hair too dry or too flat. Not this shampoo!!! First of all, the scent is delicious, almost like fruity grape. It lathers quickly so you don't need much. Honestly, you don't really even need conditioner after using it. It leaves your hair very soft. I did use the conditioner and it was great, only on my ends though. After blow drying and styling my hair felt so clean and bouncy it's been years it's felt this way. Three days after washing it still felt clean and not greasy. If you are on the lookout for an affordable, gentle and yummy smelling shampoo, I highly recommend trying this one.

This is the first I have ever tried this companies Shampoo and Conditioner for Curly hair. I have to say I first noticed the light pretty scent, a mix of vanilla and coconut. It lathers very well and when i used the conditioner I was very pleased afterwards noticing right away that it washed out well and my hair didn’t feel weighted down or greasy as it gets sometimes when I use a conditioner. I also feel this left my hair somewhat more bouncy, felt like my hair was in better condition and was holding my curls nicer. The smell was still present, although very subtle but when I passed my husband he made a comment or I should say a compliment about my hair smelling so pretty and how nice it looked. Coming from him it really touched me because he usually doesn’t notice those things and if he did he isn’t the type to really mention it. I will definitely be purchasing these two again. They come as a set which is nice and the price was more than reasonable for the size. One other thing I liked. Usually I can’t tell the shampoo from the conditioner so I usually keep one in one area of the tub and the other in another area so I know them apart. But with this all though the bottles are exactly the same and being I don’t have glasses on or contacts in I can’t decipher the wording of which is which but the conditioner has a swirl so that when you touch the bottle you can actually feel the swirl like a curl going up and down the bottle on one side. Where as the shampoo is smooth. Good way to tell them apart if they did happen to have to be together when you are in the shower or tub.

i absolutely love this shampoo and it’s matching conditioner! since it contains a decent amount of protein, i like using it after a more deeply clarifying shampoo and when my curly hair is in need of some reviving (sometimes overdoing it on the moisturizing products can cause it to feel limp). this shampoo cleanses excellently on its own and has a clear, lightweight texture. it smells light, sweet, and faintly minty in my opinion. the conditioner is super lightweight yet softening enough without weighing hair down. i would 100% recommend both to my wavy and curly folks looking for an extra protein boost in their wash day routine!

Shampoo version of this scores Yuka 86/100(Excellent); this Conditioner partner to the shampoo scores 65/100(good). Wonder why? It worked well enough. Hair was smooth and soft.

I would definitely give 5 stars for the overall performance of the product. I use the shampoo, along with the conditioner and leave in curl cream. I have tons of hair products, always trying new ones to work with my wavy but not curly hair. Curly hair products are too heavy, and regular hair products aren't conditioning enough. This is perfect!!!! The shampoo is great, works into a rich lather (which sulfate free shampoos don't always do.) I just couldn't give it five stars because the smell just doesn't align with shampoo. After a few weeks of using it, I realize it smells like anise, licorice. Initially all I could think of was Italian liqueur like anisette or sambuca. That's exactly what it smells like. If it was vanilla or fruity or citrusy it would be so much better. I will continue to use these products because I love the results, my hair doesn't smell bad or weird at all. But I wish I enjoyed the smell more.

This is gentle on my hair, and it smells great! Doesn't weigh it down or dry it out.

My teen has been using this product for awhile! I love the ingredients in the product that isn’t damaging to her hair. It gives her a deep clean and gives leaves her hair silky smooth and refreshes her waves/curles. Plus, when Amazon ships the bottles, shampoo and conditioner, they seal the tops with plastic to prevent them from opening during transit. - Huge savings from buying this product from our local Walmart. (Viewing the video - I decided to film it when I was getting ready to open it, sorry, poor planning on my part to share how I received the product.)

Switching out curly hair shampoo and conditioner for this wavy equivalent gave my hair life again. It's not weighed down by products that are now too much for me. Life is a metamorphosis.
