Pretty easy to use and very nice battery life. What would I change? Well, the Bluetooth wouldn't interface to the car's audio system, but the manual clearly said it probably wouldn't (for use mostly with wireless speakers or headphones), and the car didn't have an AUX jack so that meant not being able to use the headphone port. Which left us with using the FM transmitter. That worked well, but when traveling across states, it often took several tries to find a station frequency not in use that wouldn't interfere with the unit. If possible, I would add a USB audio output that would be able to interface with a car's stereo system, but I don't know if that would have to mimic Apple Carplay or Android connectivity which could be problematic. There's a USB port on the unit, but I think it is an input for the player, for some reason. Still, I'll give it 5 stars. It did what I asked it to do and for a very reasonable price. As other reviewers have mentioned, being able to turn the unit off, turn it back on, and have it start at the same place it left off on the CD was very nice. Review: Portable CD player good quality and value! - I bought this portable CD player so I could listen to my CD's and audiobooks while I did my housework and this player fit the bill. It's exactly as described in the ad, lightweight, easy to figure out and comes with 2 charging cords and ear buds. Easy to charge and easy to figure out how to work. I have not tried the radio yet. The volume seems to default to a very low decibel when you turn it off, and I would have liked for the volume to go higher but it's acceptable. Charge lasts a long time and it's easy to see if the charge is fading. It looks good, and works every time. Quality of the sound for music is pretty good, good enough for my use. I would recommend this player. ## Features - CD Playback – Supports CD, CD-R/RW, CD-G, MP3 CDs, and audiobook CDs, and plays MP3, WMA, and WAV audio files. This is the third player I’ve tried so I can listen to my CD’s in my car. Apparently, it’s not so simple if you don’t want to spend a lot of money. My 2022 Kia does not have a jack as an AUX port. It’s USB. No problem for Apple and android products, able to connect no issues. But a CD player? That’s a little tricky unless you pay like $100 or more. I tried this one since it was USB for POWER only. Bluetooth capability, but ONLY for an external speaker or air buds. I wish it would connect to the car. 😫 But, this one can transmit via Bluetooth through your car’s FM radio frequency. And it works. Now, it’s not perfect. Like you can hear some static, and the empty channel sound, but it’s not overwhelming where you cannot hear your music. I am floored. Like I have not been able to play my disks for like 10 years. I’m extremely happy, totally satisfied, even with the little static bits. I literally do not care that the disk loads from the bottom instead of the top. Bonus points since it can remain plugged in for power, therefore no charging required. A+++++++ Highly recommend if you’re a GEN Xer missing your book of CD’s to flip through while driving.
