I was expecting them to look good and sound ok for casual listen but no more. They look as good in real life as they do in the photos. The sound and the hifi qualities of these speakers is way above what I expected. The source is my phone and apple music, so not the highest quality streaming service or DAC u can have. I would say that these active speakers sound at least as good as budget separate system (think NAD, ROTEL,etc) from the 90's.
