Beautiful and effective
If you need a little help controlling the temperature of your SSD, this passive heatsink is an excellent option. Well made, beautifully cut and the right price makes this good value, if you can get away with it. Installation is a little tricky, trying to get the screws to fall into place without falling between the heatsink fins, but it eventually comes together. If you must, use a magnetic driver and hold the SSD upside down (drive screws upward). It also comes with thermal paste, in the form of an adhesive pad, to be applied during install. TBQH, it’s not ideal, and there are better solutions available, as it’s quite thick, covers a gap of over 1mm (with my SSD of choice) and thus insulates, more than transfers, heat. But, for $8, who’s complaining? The only issue is this: unlike the back cover this replaces, there is no MagSafe array. You can’t attach anything atop the heatsink. If you need the secondary MagSafe array, Hagibis makes a matching TEC and fan.

Good enough
It buys you time, but I recommend the fan attachement instead for prolonged use.

Great add on to an already great product.
Oh it works alright. Your SSD will not thermal throttle ever again. It might fall off your phone though as this thing adds a good amount of weight. I ran a two hour write test and wow did this thing hold up great! The speeds never once dipped and it was just a little warm to the touch. The enclosure, like most to be fair, can’t expose SMART data to the host so I couldn’t monitor the temps of the actual SSD. But using the super scientific method of a pharmacy thermometer stuck between the fins, I measured a maximum temp of 108F so right around 42C. Though I really wish they would have have gone with thinner fins and more of them, would have increased surface area allowing for the heatsink to be shorter, lighter and less likely to cause your SSD to fall off your phone. But overall, I can’t complain, it does its job and it does it damn well. And good on Hagibis for proving options!

Well Designed, Built and Works Great
I recently tried the Hagibis Heat Dissipation Fins Cover for my MC100 Magnetic M.2 2230 NVMe SSD enclosure, and I’m very pleased with its performance. It's made from aluminum, and effectively enhances heat dissipation, which is crucial for maintaining optimal performance during extended use. The installation process was straightforward—just a few screws in the corners, and I was set. The fins design increases the surface area, allowing heat to spread out more efficiently, which has noticeably reduced thermal throttling during my video recording sessions. I used this to add storage for the Asus gaming device. I have installed a magnetic plate behind it and this attaches to the magnet making it a very convenient way to add 1TB of storage to the Asus device. Overall, I highly recommend the Hagibis Heat Dissipation Fins Cover for its effectiveness and ease of use—it’s definitely worth the investment!

well made but only a cover
It is a well-made product, but I was disappointed to realize it’s only the cover and not the full enclosure. I expected more than just the upper cover. If you’re looking for a replacement part for your MC100, this will work, but be aware it’s just the cooling cover.

Durable, Well Made
I've used it on my trip to Tokyo, Japan, Bali, Indonesia and Seoul, S. Korea on a 2 and a half week trip. I carried it on me pretty much everyday. Haven't edited the videos yet however this was definitely nice and compact. I went ahead and bought the heat dissipation device from the same seller to attach to mines so it became even more bulky. When I received the device it came with the device, and some heat dissipation material which is just a piece of thick square gray material that you can peel off and stick to the ssd and the backplate of the device to transfer heat. It works really effectively since I can feel the warmness of the device whenever it is in use which is what you want. If it is cool to the touch while its being the ssd might be overheating so feeling the heat is a good thing. Just a note. The SSD I had was a little power hungry. I would get notifications on my Iphone 15 Pro Max that the device may not work even though it does. My recommendation is to find the lowest powered SSD that you can. I'm not really a videographer and probably don't plan to edit my videos often so the device may not be quite as useful for me. However I would definitely recommend it. Just note that you Iphone would drain a little quicker since its now powering another device.

Does a good job of cooling the SSD
This product is a metal heat sink that replaces the existing back cover of the HAGiBiS SSD enclosure for the iPhone 15 Pro series iPhones. When Apple moved their new phones to USB C they gave the iPhone 15 Pro's a 10gbps USB C port which when a fast enough SSD/Flash Drive is plugged in it will shoot ProRes video to the external device. I got a HAGiBIS SSD enclosure which I installed a 256gb SSD into allowing me to record ~30 min ProRes video clips externally allowing me to streamline my editing workflow. The HAGiBiS SSD enclosure is unique in that it not only supports USB C speeds for data transfer but it also allows for power pass-through so that you can also charge your phone at the same time. This does result in a fair amount of heat which can over a prolonged period of time can corrupt the data on the SSD and lead to failure. That's where this heatsink comes in. This heatsink has a series of thick fins machined into the back which raises the height of the SSD enclosure by ~1/4". This heatsink does remove the magsafe functionality of the enclosure so if that is something you relied upon I would be mindful of that. All-in-all this is a fantastically made SSD heatsink and has superb machining and I am certain this will hold up for years of use without issue. The only complaint that I have is that I wish this included some thermal pads.

Heatsink cap for mini ssd case.
The case itself sucks, but the heatsink radiator cap works a little bit to keep temps down. Theres not much else to say. Its a cap/face plate for a mini ssd magnet case.

Ninguno de los tornillos incluidos ni los de la carcasa para el SSD ajustan, tuve que improvisar una solución casera que me ha funcionado hasta el momento. Producto costoso y mal hecho.
