Excellent shave on a budget.
I've always used cartridge based razers like Gillette but I figured I'd try a safety razor for a change. After the first shave I am already very impressed by both the shave, how easy it is to use and the affordability. Not only are the blades easy to swap and clean when compared to cartridges, they are incredibly cheap. You can get a box of a 100 for a just a few quid online and save yourself a lot of dosh. The Gillette and Wilkinson's cartridge brands are good, no doubt, but they are expensive and cannot be recycled and end up just filling up landfills. The blades I've used for this are both cheaper, easier to clean and give a clean cut that easily rivals your common razor brand. It is incredible. The weight of the razor is not too heavy, but the material used gives it a heftiness that makes it feel premium despite the affordable price point. It comes with 5 blades which should last you a while. It also may take a shave or two to adjust to the razor, especially how much pressure you need to exert to shave. I recommend a wet shave if you have coarse facial hair with a considerable dollop of shaving foam for the first go or so, primarily to get used to how much friction you need to apply to shave. I only nicked myself once on my first go, so if you're patient and consider yourself a decent shaver with a steady hand, you should be absolutely fine. While the blades aren't particularly sharp or painful to use, they can still give you a nasty cut if you're not careful. The blades are also easy to replace too, you just twist the head of the razor off and insert the blade, twist it back on and voila. I can't sing this products praise more. I regret not buying one years ago.

Amazing quality while reasonably well priced
I have never used a safety razor before, but I was looking into a more eco-friendly way of shaving when I found the bambaw safety razor. I was very worried about ordering it as I am afraid of cuts - I am the person that cuts themself ALL. THE. TIME. However, I didn't cut myself despite being an absolute safety razor newbie, and I was surprised by the quality of the razor! The razor came in nice eco-friendly packaging and was easy to put together. I chose the rose-gold coloured razor with the stand, which stands very solid on my slightly lopsided and wet shower shelf. It's quite heavy, and the manual discourages from using pressure on the razor while using it, which really isn't needed because the razor does have the perfect weight to glide over your skin (although it can be a bit tiring if you're veeeery careful and take your time). The razor is perfect for shaving the armpits and even some of the more intimate areas. It was a bit more difficult on the legs, but I'm quite blind without my glasses, so shaving those is always a bit of a challenge. I have extremely sensitive skin (due to psoriasis) and was amazed at how neat and smooth the razor shaves. It is a bit complicated over more difficult areas (like the back of the knee or the ankle), but that should become easier with practice. I was only dissatisfied with my right leg, where the skin was quite irritated after the shave - however, I've been using a pretty blunt plastic razor up until now and had quite some ingrown hairs, so this might just be the usual first-time reaction my sensitive skin is very prone for. Very happy with this order!

It's a nice razor but be prepared for a lot of cuts.
The blade is a smooth shave however it isn't entirely as advertised, it's not perfectly weighted as mentioned being more top heavy and the grip can often be slippery in the shower often resulting in me dropping the razor. It also doesn't prevent ingrown hairs at all and on more awkward areas of the body I often find I cut myself more compared to a disposable or Guillette razor and those cuts bleed a lot and for a while. I'm honestly too afraid to use this on more intimate areas now as it has a tendency to miss areas or cut even when using a light pass over. Although I do appreciate that I don't have to change the blades as often, you do have to be very careful changing the blades to avoid cutting yourself very badly and I find I still have to use a disposable razor anyway on some areas.

Best razor I've ever had
I have been using this for a few weeks now, I have to say it's the best razor I've ever used. I used to be firm multiblade safety razor fan, nothing could sway me in my loyalty to a certain female goddess branded razor. I am unfortunate to suffer with ingrown hairs, razor rash and strawberry skin. Since switching to this razor the irritation is gone, the growth is slowed and the ingrown hairs and strawberry skin has almost vanished. It's taken me a while to figue out the correct angles and I'm still getting small nicks here and there, but the more confident I get, the less issue I am having. The razor has a good weight behind it, is a great quality and comes with multiple blades. It's easy to put together and change the blades, I would 100% recommend it. If you're not sure, definitely give it a try, you wont regret it!

Safety razor I don’t think so 😠
I would personally not recommend this because it’s too sharp and I’m as careful as I can be, taking my time in the shower with lots of soap and gentle strokes on the areas I want to shave and I still keep cutting myself, this is called a safety razor and it’s the complete opposite!!! I had lots of cuts on my private area 😭 and it’s heavy so not the most comfortable to hold. Please don’t get this

I have had this for over a year now, it has held up very well. You can use any standard blades when you run out of the ones that are provided. I find that this razor has prevented strawberry skin and is very easy to use as long as you are careful

Fits my rose gold safety razor to perfection- good deal and feels solid. Only time will tell whether it rusts or not.
