Battery Champion! Good Tracking Overall
This fitness watch is a battery champion, and it is an understatement. With light exercise, 24-hour blood oxygen/heart rate monitoring, and sleep tracking, I have been getting around 17 days with ~60% battery usage and this is insane. Since I have bought this watch (45 days ago), I have charged it only 3 times and that too because I only charged it to ~80% each time. I have seen tons of reviews online and how folks have performed scientific studies to measure the accuracy of the sensors but my take on is that measurements are darn close if not perfect. I compared the readings with pulse oximeter that we bought during Covid era, and the heart rate and saturations measurements match up perfectly. GPS accuracy is also good. Locks quickly and tracks your walk/runs near perfectly. Honestly, I am not the one who is bothered by GPS tracking missing by couple meters. I use it for my reference for later analysis only. Cannot comment on Sleep tracking, every company has their own sleep algorithm to identify sleep quality, but I feel sleep tracking is good on this device. It also records nap times which almost all other watches do not do. A few things I do miss is NFC payment, limited reply option on messaging services and flight of stairs tracking. I already knew that this watch does not have NFC feature and I have not missed it much because I always have phone or wallet with me, and believe me tapping a physical card is way faster than pushing a button then entering unlock code and then completing the transaction within 60s (that's how my galaxy active2 worked) but I guess it is FOMO of not having this feature that I might need it someday in emergency. Flight of stairs is another thing that I do not understand. When I climb stairs, I can see change in barometer readings, but it just does not record or records incorrectly. There is 9 feet difference in barometer when I climb stairs up, but it just does not increment the stairs card accordingly which is very strange. I believe it has got to do with changing weather. I hope this algorithm can also be improved in future software release but I not sure if this watch would get Zepp OS 3, so chances are slim I hope Amazfit can at least add a keyboard to reply to message from watch directly and have good support for emojis and font in future release. Overall, I feel it is a solid fitness watch for most people who are involved in casual training and workout and even for Fitness enthusiast who want to use this watch as a companion for training as this watch also supports external accessory that can record exact biometrics readings.

Totally surprised by the quality of this watch!
I was totally surprised by this watch. It offers a ton of functionality, physical toughness, and good looks. I've had it for a few months now. If you set it to only display when you need it...that is, not always on and not wrist lift activated...the battery lasts for weeks. I also like a minimalist look which requires very little energy (photos). I hunt and camp and do very physical work with it on and it can take a beating. So far it has done everything they say it does. I used to buy Seiko only, but their quality is now so bad that I had to try something new. This is a great watch.

I Really Like My Amazfit Active Edge
I would like to preface my review by stating that I purchased this watch with my own money, and I am not being compensated for this review. That being said...after a week of wearing this watch 24/7, I think it is just a great intro sports watch. It is light, but it doesn't feel cheap. The display is bright an clear, even in direct sunlight. No issues in the water so far, and the battery life is great. 5 days, and I am still at 64%. No...It doesn't answer calls. I have a phone for that. But for this active 61 year old, who cycles, does paddle sports, and walks several miles a week, it's just a perfect companion. The Zepp OS is quite intuitive. I am still discovering all of the stuff this watch will do. But for me...It does exactly what I need it to do...tracks my workouts, sleep, caloric intake, water, and vitals like heart rate and blood Ox. I can also set activity reminders. It offers tips on how to improve in all aspects with AI generated suggestions. It has a GPS so it tracks my routes when I walk, kayak or cycle. The watch easily connect to my android phone. The Zepp app is 100% certified old guy compliant. If I can make it work and understand it...I know most of you can as well. It is very easy to navigate. I just like the fact that I can track all of my activity and see progress...in every aspect of my wellness journey. This is not another cheap sports watch. It is the perfect intro into sports watches, without buying a cheap piece of junk with a crappy OS. What you are getting is a very good product that will get you well on your way, for a price point that most people can hit easily.

Great Cycling watch
this is the single best watch of cycling i have ever purchased, i have owned a Garmin but this work better and has a color screen, this is my second Trex , I had wrecked the other one in a bike accident , easy to use , lots of functions and overall a great watch for the price, the only downfall has been I want to change the band but have not found a tool to undo the old band that is why I would give only 4 out of 5 .

expecting mediocre, but have been really pleased.
Bought as a skeptic and expecting mediocre, but have been really pleased. Battery life is excellent, even with heavy usage. Heart rate seems comparable with my Garmin watch. Gps map and speed for walking and cycling is dead on even with garmin. Ai coach from Zep is pretty good and comparable to others that have paid subscription or ones with more expensive entry point. Not claiming as good as super high end Garmin, but very competitive for low to mid range ones. Done plenty or swims and rainy rides without any issues.

Decent Watch, not very customizable
This is my first smart watch and I am not really sold on them. Do not get me wrong it has LOTS of impressive functions, so many that I doubt I will ever use all of them. The biggest problem with it is they are not integrated with each other, and a majority are not shown on the face in a majority of their face options. So its just like having another smaller phone on your wrist that you have to dig through to get the information you are after. Was very impressed with the compass function, in fact that is why I bought the watch. Very unimpressed that no one has figured out how to merge the watch with the compass together. Only one I found has a note that says not to complain about it because it is there for decoration, that is very helpful, excuse my sarcasm. The military watch face is the most basic version that doesn't show military time, there is much more to the military than camo folks. All the outdoor watch faces do not include any type of compass in them, nor does the aviator face version. Many different watch faces to choose from, but no way to customize your own face that I have found. I can attest that it is extremely hard to scratch, the face has taken a beating of the wall 10+ times, a glance of a tool, and being dropped with no issues at all. Sleep function seems to work pretty good. Have some doubts on the heart rate as I was in the middle of a workout and it was reading 95 bpm, but it seems to work most of the time. All in all it seems to be a solid watch, just needs more support.

Very durable and affordable
This watch is amazing and I’m in love with all of the features and functionality. I use this every day as I work in construction and the mirror design makes this extremely easy to use and very easy to read. I love that. It was very affordable and also allows me the ability to keep track of my sleeping habits using the AMAZFIT app, which also includes a ton of other features too long to list here.

Great watch!
Watch is great. Fits awesome and very rugged. Battery life is amazing. I use almost every monitor function on this watch and they all work great. Now to the most important part after having a $400 smart watch. The battery lasts 1 1/2 to 2 months on a single charge. This depends on how often I use the GPS hiking/walking tracker. Yes it is actually a GPS watch. My one and only complaint is that the "apps" are Zepp only. There are other apps I looked forward to using with this watch but can not. This is not WEAR OS{android} or APPLE play store compatible. This watch is still worth every penny I spent and more. 9/10 recommend!
