I used to use a wheeled lawnmower for cutting the grass, and it worked pretty well. However, it was bulky and heavy, making it cumbersome to move around, especially when the grass got tall. It took quite a bit of effort to push it through. So I switched to this string trimmer, and it’s been super convenient. It’s much lighter and easier to operate. And it is powerful, even when tackling taller and thick grass, it doesn’t struggle at all. While there are still minor drawbacks. The soft cord can sometimes snap if it hits concrete or bricks. Also, the cut grass doesn’t collect neatly, and it scatters everywhere, which means I have to go back with a leaf blower to gather it all up, which is a bit of a hassle. Overall, the experience has been pretty good. For home use and personal lawn maintenance, especially to trim the lawn edge, it’s quite handy.
