I believe that for the price, it was quite a good deal, and I’m thrilled to have moved forward with my upgrade. I used to ghost pedal down hills with my 14-28T freewheel setup, but that’s a thing of the past! The included freewheel removal nut tool is absolutely essential, and the entire replacement and upgrade took me less than 45 minutes. Just put on a pair of gloves, grab two adjustable wrenches, and start loosening those bolts. You’ll need some leverage to remove the freewheel, so give it a good crank or two, and then it’s as easy as pie. And don’t forget to grease around the axle and on the new freewheel! I read some previous reviews and worried that the lower price might mean a risky purchase, but I’ve had no issues whatsoever. I’ve gone from riding downhill at a maximum of 31.5 mph to over 36 mph! I like to stand up and pedal in 7th gear, and being a big guy with strong legs, the stock 14-28T just wasn’t cutting it. This upgrade is absolutely essential if you want to maximize your eBike’s performance and get more battery life and speed. One thing to keep in mind: after the installation, I needed to adjust the High-limit screw a couple of quarter turns to align the derailleur hanger. I could feel and hear a sudden pop, and the pedals would lurch forward—like the chain skipped a beat. It was an easy fix and took no more than 10 minutes. Now, after the upgrade, my 7th gear feels like a new 6th gear, and I truly feel like I have an 8th gear! It’s definitely about 25% harder to turn, but with pedal assist set to 5, I can really fly! I mostly ride around in 6th gear, and when I’m ready to take off, I shift into 7th—something I could never do before! p.s. - there are not many 11-28T options and I think this is just as good as all the others...

11 tooth is the way to go, especially if you like have an ebike. I started out with a 46 tooth chainring, changed from that to a 48. I noticed a difference, then a to a 50, notice d a little difference.but when I went from 13 tooth to 11 on the rear, it made a huge difference. Deffinately will buy again.

Freewheel works well, but tool did not fit well, despite correct size. I ended up using angle grinder to remove old freewheel. THe product would gain if the installation tool was not included.

Wont let me put 5 stars. Upgraded from a 14-28 gear set where I was ghost pedaling after 20mph on my ebike, after replacing only this part with my stock 48t front chainring I now have feeling in the pedals at 35-37mph, such a good leg workout trying to maintain that with the help of the ebike. I was considering replacing the front tooth chainring but after just a test ride I think I might actually be satisfied! The stock tool removed my old one and installed the new one no issues, you will need a size 24 deep socket to install this.

The 7-speed Freewheel works but is severely deformed. When spinning it wobbles terribly. Don't know how long it will work.

This freewheel is really great! The 11 tooth gear really steps up my top end on my 40 year old Ross E Bike conversion build. First I tried the Drift Maniac Freewheel and found it to be sub par as on the 11 tooth sprocket the chain would continually jump and skip as it is apparently poorly engineered, even under normal power input. This unit however, is just perfect and superb! The paws are nice and quiet too.

Pretty quiet, lighter than old 14-28, Higher top speed with 36t single chainring and 11t @ lower rpm than a 42t 3pc and 14t freewheel.

To replace a 7 speed electric bike. Works perfectly at very low speed and high speed. No need for 18 speeds. This one covers all. No problem after 6 months of riding.

This upgrade lets me peddle at higher speeds

Replaced my 14 x 28 with this 11 x 32 . On my bike this made the difference so I can paddle at all speeds my e-bike can do. 1st gear is now lower so nice for steep hills . 7th gear is good for higher speed , 5th gear is about the same as my old gear 7th gear. Doesn’t seem to be as high a quality as the original Shamino I replaced it with but price reflects it . Working good ! We’ll see how it goes . 1 month later and it is still working fine. Pleased customer ! So far.

Good quality. 11 tooth a bit close to frame but if your axle is long enough it's a great item.
