Dremel 2050 Stylo+ Electric Engraver, Versatile Craft Engraving Tool Kit with 15 Accessories and Multi Chuck

I have tried a few "cheaper" engraving tools to etch on glass and they have not been up to the job. Where many have failed, so far this tool is brilliant. The DREMEL STYLO+ firstly is exceptionally comfortable to hold so you have control of the job in hand, especially for close detailed work. It is so quiet as well meaning you can quite easily use it at home without disturbing anyone or pets (my dog is quite happy in the same room with the noise whereas other machines, he has left)! The chuck is easy to use without the need of a screw driver like some machines and a nice long cord. I've yet to use it on wood or metal, but so far on glass I use speed 3, which is the best speed I have found for glass. 1+2 a bit slow and 4+5 too powerful and wobbly. definitely worth paying the extra money for a decent tool, I must remember the motto "you get what you pay for"! I would recommend this Dremel tool and I'm looking forward to creating some master pieces and trying it out on different materials.

Bought for my boyfriend, he says it’s fantastic:) he’s using it to customise figurines so not sure how it would work for heavier duty projects.

This tool is great for engraving where precision is needed. It is therefore really good at fulfilling it's primary function. That is what I wanted it for and so I am entirely happy with my purchase. The bits are easily changed, using the spanner that is supplied with the tool, and fit securely. It comes with various bits and fitments for other uses such as sanding and cutting. They work but if that is what you really want it for, get the 3000 with its more powerful motor.

Great tool. Very easy to use. I like that it is lightweight and easy to hold.

A really useful & adaptable machine. Engraves stone, glass & wood. Light, easy to hold & does the job easily & with speed. Great!

This is the best drill I have had for Modelling, the speed difference is great from really slow ! not as slow as last machine so good for tiny hobbies, runs smoothly - really pleased with it

This Dremel is outstanding and I would recommend it for dry point etching on acrylic. I have used this unit with groups and find the speed control to be very useful for application but also for volume control. This is the best Dremel I have ever purchased and I am keen to purchase a few more at some stage. The attachments that come with the unit are also outstanding!
