Unfortunately it doesn't do anything at all. I only needed to spend 30 mins in the garden to see a difference whereas I spent nearly 3 hours with my feet on this and nothing. I tested that the socket was earthed and it was. This has put me off getting a sheet which is what I was going to do next.
