The first time I bought some everyday compression socks, I tried different brands. It didn't take long for these to become the winner! They are by far the most comfortable compression socks I have ever owned. My first impression of compression socks was that they looked like Ace bandage tube socks that were very clinical. The other socks on the market felt like 1970s polyester suits that were thick and unnatural. These socks are a game-changer, and I can't say enough about how happy I am with my purchase. These bamboo socks are as comfortable as any other non-compression socks in my drawer. I can wear them all day without any pain or discomfort, and they don't leave large impressions on my skin. The compression socks are not high-compression or prescription grade, but they work well to improve my circulation and offset my varicose veins. The socks don't slip down or bunch up. They pretty much stay in place throughout the day and fit like a glove. The added padding on the sole and the heal add to their comfort. I have seen some reviews talk about the socks shrinking. I'm not sure if they bothered to try the socks on again, but I have had no such problem. Admittedly, the socks appear to shrink after washing. However, I am 6'-2" with tall legs, and the socks naturally stretch over my calves to just below the knee. The shrinking is evidence of the inherent compression. (See the attached photo. The sock I am holding is from another pair, demonstrating that they appear to shrink by 50%, but actually do not). They are thin enough that I can also wear another pair of thin socks over them, should I wish to wear a different accent color. Most of the time, I am happy to lounge in these socks. For someone looking for varicose vein management without giving up comfort, I highly recommend these. Thank you, +MD Compression Socks! I really have no complaints, but I do find one challenge that I have to work around. My calves are large, and the socks can sometimes cause pants or the pants of a tailored suit to not slide down naturally when I stand from a sitting position. While the socks are very comfortable, they don't feel polyester-slick and they may stick a little like microfiber. I don't have this problem with pants that are more roomy or that aren't tailored. Even with this condition, I don't mind because I feel so comfortable.

When told to use compression socks by her doctor, my wife originally went into a big box store & bought some. She hated them. They were too sheer and wore out at the toes within a couple wearings. An expensive! She ordered these and her first comment upon putting them on were they were very comfortable and appeared much better made than the previous ones. There is reinforcing in the toes and heal and so far, they simply work, no holes! She bought the three pack at the cost of just over one pair of the previous, inferior socks. Great product!

Soft, nice quality sock, but the top elastic is painfully tight and causes throbbing until washed and dried the first time. The toes are thick and comfy, but take longer to dry than the rest of the sock.

Best, most comfortable, and softest compression socks I've found. I have issues with swelling and mild neuropathy so finding compression socks that keep the swelling under control without making the nerve pain worse has been hard. These are perfect. The padding on the sole is like adding a comfort insoles to any shoes. The compression is enough to stop swelling without cutting in and the top band is wide enough to not dig in even though I'm short and have to fold them down a little. I love these and will be buying more soon. It would be great to get more color and style choices because I really don't want to wear any of the other compression socks I got now. None of them come close to these for comfort, fit or compression. They also stay in place perfectly through work shifts.

Very SOFT and comfortable. I enjoy walking wearing these socks. They stay up by themselves. They are stylish and cool looking. Just walk MORE and be healthier for a start. Gives you more energy to do more Healthy Habits like shopping and eating more fruits and veggies more water. Just increases your overall sense of happiness. Stretch a lot daily and when you can add weight training but age appropriate. They make my feet and lower legs FEEL GREAT. I bought 2 3 packs so I have a fresh pair everyday and a clean pair on laundry day when I wash the 5 pairs I have already worn. I wear socks about 14 hours a day: commuting to and from and then the workday itself. Feet feel great at the end of the day when i take them off. Take care of your feet and you will take better care of your overall health.

I made the purchase for my aging parent who suffers from hypertension. His BP med causes his ankles to swell, a lot. Initially, I was so excited about the MD+ light-weight compression socks. They are fairly easy to slip on and minimized his ankle swelling. After the first wash though, I was disappointed in the fabric quality. I washed them in cold water and dried them using the delicate-care cycle. I did not expect the socks to shrink nor look worn. The look and length went from knee-high to crew-high. On the upside, they still stretched and fit up to the knee.

Husband has just been advised to wear support stockings. Learning and trying them has been a journey. We’ve tried some in the 15-20mmgh size and realized, that even between us, we just can’t handle the struggle and be consistent about it. At least right now. But these are 8-15, and although he says he can certainly feel the pressure, they are easier to put on. (Not “easy;” none of these things are)! And being bamboo, they are soft and comfy. Advise: if you can, buy a sturdy “dinner” that makes the job a little more doable.

Comfortable and reach to my knee - I am 6' 1".

4 months post bunion surgery I was still having swelling in my foot and my surgeon recommended getting knee-high compression socks in a light compression level of 10-15. The only place I could find them was on Amazon, and these were a 8-15. They make a huge difference in my foot swelling each day, and are very comfortable. If I pull them too high they are a bit cutting around the very top band on my leg/under my knee but as long as I have them down a bit on my lower leg they don't bug me at all. Highly recommend if heavy compression is not needed for you.
