I bought it for my desk and didn’t realize I needed the free stand one instead of the clasping one. I try talking to costumer service to buy the stand separately but they never answered me. Disappointing. I like the lamp though. It’s bright and gives the option of white and yellowish light. Also regulates brightness. It’s perfect for my desk in the office once it’s opposite to the window. I like that you can control it to be highly above the laptop or lower if I’m just writing. Sturdy and practical.
