The first one I received had a broken focus knob but Amazon and seller replaced it in a day, the second one was good quality but I was buying it to see birds in woods 3-4km away from my 30 storey building, the zoom on this is pretty high and if are gonna use it as a spotting scope it's great, the zoom level mentioned doesn't feel like a marketing gimmick, but the actual zoom possible. Just don't expect to spot small objects like birds at 3km distance with it, maybe if you have a high digital/optical zoom phone you can zoom into the image with it using the provided attachments and spot them but not using just this, large objects like cars are visible at that range though. But they are zoomed in as if you are viewing them at 500m. You have to use a tripod with it, as even smaller movements are magnified to visible shaking in the view at large ranges. The one provided can be used on a table but is only a foot or so big, but it is useful if you don't have a bigger tripod. It comes with a small cleaning cloth phone attachment and tripod. I refunded it as a couldn't use it for my use case, but it is a good device as a spotting scope.
