Getting it set up was easy with the Cricut guided tutorial and for it's smaller size has proven to be very functional. The program for using the machine is fairly simple and easy to navigate. I looked up a few YouTube videos to help me learn the program quickly. Everything listed in the bundle was included in the delivery. I should've done a little more research, because I wasn't aware the machine operated using Bluetooth connectivity and both my laptops are too old to have Bluetooth capability, so for now I've purchased a Bluetooth dongle. I definitely recommend a newer laptop or computer to operate the design program due to slow, annoying lags and for the machine for the Bluetooth. You do have the convenient option to operate everything on a mobile device like a phone or tablet.
