Franz Gluten Free Deli-Style Rye Flavored Bread

This bread tastes exactly like "real" rye bread and on top of that the slices are HUGE! We've been making real deli-style reubens like crazy since finding these. Game changer for celiacs!

Shockingly not dry like most GF bread. Delicious too. I recommend keeping it in the freezer though - especially right now in the summer heat - because the bread went bad pretty fast in the fridge. Testament to the fact that it doesn't have a million preservatives though, which is a plus. Now that I know, I'll keep it in the freezer myself. Thought others should know about the shelf life since the bread is a little pricey after all. (But you're getting deliciousness for the price! Enjoy!)

This bread has a texture and taste like the deli rye I got prior to being gluten free. It is a bit pricey, but for a special treat it is worth it for us.

Moist, soft, delicious. I made a grilled cheese. I'm definitely buying more. And trying the other flavors.

The details say 6 slices per loaf - but these slices are huge! I use one slice to end up with a full size sandwich. Having celiac, I have to stay gluten free but the bread products are usually tolerable at best - this rye bread isn't in that category. Soft - very soft when comparing to other GF breads - and the only rye choice I've found so far. I will be buying again.
