A Fantastic Learning & Hobby Engineering Product
I’ve been working with the Robotic Arm, and I absolutely love it. The build quality is solid, the servos are very accurate and responsive, and the programming options make it a great platform for both beginners and hobby engineers who want to dive deeper into robotics. Setup is straightforward, and it’s easy to expand with custom add‑ons. For example, I added a 4x20 LCD display using the SCL and SDA pins. Just a tip for fellow builders: be careful with A4 & A5, since those are tied to I²C — it works beautifully once you map it correctly. To give others a head start, here’s the hardware I/O map for my configuration: Uno 6CH Knob Shield V1.1 I/O Map (included with the base kit): Gripper Servo(0): Pin 7 Wrist Servo(1): Pin 6 Elbow Servo(2): Pin 5 Shoulder Servo(3): Pin 4 Base Servo(4): Pin 3 Aux Servo(5) (added): Pin 2 Red Pushbutton: Pin 8 Yellow Pushbutton: Pin 9 Open: Pin 10 Small Buzzer: Pin 11 Open: Pin 12 Smart LED: Pin 13 Pot 0: Ain0 Pot 1: Ain1 Pot 2: Ain2 Pot 3: Ain3 Pot 4: Ain4 (SDA/I²C data overrides analog input) Pot 5: Ain5 (SCL/I²C clock overrides analog input) LCD 4x20: SCL & SDA (added LCD // note uses same pins A4 & A5) The included tutorials and software make it easy to get started, but there’s plenty of room to customize. If you’re looking for a robot arm that balances affordability, functionality, and fun, this is a fantastic choice. It’s not a gadget; it’s a hands‑on learning tool that sparks creativity and problem‑solving. Highly recommended for anyone curious about robotics and Arduino Uno programming.

Quality build
After building one myself and coding it up to ChatGPT i bought one for my son to learn mechanics and electronics.

Great kit with a very weak tutorial book
The kit's hardware has an excellent quality. All the parts are well made, robust and have a great finish. I was really pleased and surprised with the quality of the hardware. The software works very well, is easy to operate and very interesting. However, unfortunately, the tutorials explaining how the software works are extremely weak and lacking in detail. The explanations are extremely superficial, making the kit completely inappropriate for anyone who does not have advanced knowledge of Arduino programming. This goes against the educational purpose of the kit, which is to use an open source program to provide learning. It is a shame that this happens with this type of kit. I had the same problem with another chinese kit. I have intermediate knowledge of Arduino programming and I am having great difficulty deciphering and understanding how the programs in this kit work. It is a shame, because it is truly a high-quality product, but if you want to learn programming, this kit is not for you. It is a product for advanced programmers and developers with a lot of experience. The manufacturer could dedicate more time and attention to tutorials explaining the programming lines, how the functions work, the techniques used, etc., so that the user can develop their skills. That's my opinion.

Not what they say it is
Couldn’t get it to work with Arduino, even though they stated it’s open coding and specifically works with arduino.

NOT FOR LEARNING HOW TO CODE, hardware is great
Unless you are an Arduino or coding wizard, do not buy this kit unless you want the hardware more than the Code. The hard wear is great, and easy to assymble. Bought an arm and a hand, put them together as a pair. When I checked the battery boxs one set started turning red. Since this was a long term project, so I wrote a bad review. The Company said they were giving me a refund, but I have never checked. Started with the other one, tring to get it to work, still can't get it to load and have found the the code for the arm is beyond me. INSTRUCTIONS are a Mess Not for children that don't know code
